'Chambertin' is getting taller. It's not in the shade and it has to be a good 5 1/2 feet tall.

Gee thanks Mags, it is one of my favs! lol Mine aren't blooming yet, I still have lots to go.
Meant to say I love Northern Star and Mambo...new names to me.

I love "Lombardia" and "Mambo" - are those both Orientals? Wow Tracey your selection never seems to end. And wonderful OT's I see you have blooming, pixie!

Susan, I would say 35 to 45 is ideal....how cold does the wine cooler get? I am sure you could adjust that into that range. I keep a small thermometer in mine and maintain at about 40. It really is great for bulb storage until you can plant - wouldn't be without mine.

Nostalgia is so delicate looking. They're all gorgeous.

This is Anastasia

Black Beauty (kind of a crooked picture)

Here is my Bonbini - The colors aren't quite as bright as some others shown. Our temps have been high 70's/low 80's and low 60's at night.

Close inspection will reveal a hummingbird in this Black Beauty group.

this thread is going to get me in trouble... sooo many pretty blooms

North Shore of L. I., NY(Zone 6b)

Are hummingbirds attracted to most of the big flowered lilies?

Ripon, WI(Zone 4a)

jmorth, nice shots with the hummingbird and Sphinx moth!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

You are always able to capture the pollinators so well jmorth.
And goldfich your flowers are beautiful. Everything seems so off schedule in the midwest, doesn't it? Usually my LOs are long gone by now.

Here's 'Manissa' from Faraway Flowers.

Like Buggy Crazy's Luxurious', this double from B&D has pollen. Yay!

This is 'Double Vision', a double I have not seen before, as evidenced by its bloom.

'Anastasia' though the sunlight.

Goldfinch, how old is that conca'dor clump? absolutely stunning.

have to research Manisa to see if I can grow it.

Here are my Brunellos from the B&B 2009 summer sale. To say they're screaming orange is an understatement. The color is solid orange, however, the sun was peeking in and out so it looks bitone, but it's not.

vossner, 'Manissa' is an OT, it should grow well in TX. Have you been pleased with the LO performance? Curious.

LOs seem to perform the best for me, but OTs and LAs are close seconds. I have some orientals and no asiatics, can't grow those to save my life. As this is only my 3rd season growing them, I can't make sweeping statements b/c I'm still learning. It's been a great help to keep up w/ Steve as he is close to my area

I have been keeping notes on performance, however, I need to fine tune my record-keeping to learn which ones are not returning and I have had some of those. But I can't tell if it was the source, or where I planted, or the weather.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

SHOCKING...I got these late in the season . These will be moved up by the front porch come fall.

'Sister of Pizzazz' She doesn't like to have her picture taken. She's quite shy. Lol. I bet I took this picture 4 days in a row at various times with nothing better than this.

This is too pretty to have such a numeral name. Such as it is:

April would have been a nice name, not as nice as what you got though ;)

'Love Story' from Faraway Flowers. Nice big flowers and smells nice too.
