Lovely Rita, just lovely!!! Your neighbors must just love your gardens. I'd love to have a neighbor that cared enough to have gardens like that. But then, I'd love to have any of you guys for my neighbor. :)

North Shore of L. I., NY(Zone 6b)

All my neighbors know I am the crazy gardening nut.

That picture along my driveway you can see my new SILK ROAD lilies that I had so much trouble getting this spring. Then further along going up along the fence there are other types of trumpet lilies planted all new this spring. You can't see any of them because they either finished blooming already or are laying down in amoungst the daylilies.

Mattsmom, Rita, what beautiful landscapes. I love how all of our tastes and end results vary - and how geography plays a part in how everything looks. Great job.

Mattsmom (Becky), I love the bench around your tree. Everything in your yard ios as neat as a pin. You must really put a lot of effort into it.

Thanks for the nice words everyone! It is a labor of love. Can't afford therapy. LOL

OMG all of your lily gardens are so breathe taking. I am so glad I found this forum I thought I had a thing about lilies my husband is always yelling you have anough why are you buying more. Now I see why we love our lilies. I always wait until this time of year and go get them when they mark them down. I think I bought about 25 or 30 this year. Then there's the web sites I go into for the stargazers and the ones that are hard to find. This year I went crazy again I have bought all kinds of bulbs tiger lilies, stargazers and a bunch more. When they ship in Sept I will be running around trying to figure out were I am going to put them. I am on my notebook and I have no pictures stored in here. I will try and post some pictues of some of my lilies as I said my gardens look nothing like all of yours.

Show your husband some of these pics of our yards. That will show him how much restraint you really are using, LOL.

It's beautiful in person as well and so is her entire garden.

That is such a pretty view. Especially with the tree and pine trees in the back. It makes it feel like you have all the room in the world. You have to make some time to lay in the hammock and enjoy the yard.
