Thanks for lovely clematis, quickly shipped, well packed and apparently healthy (I just hope I can keep it thus). Thank you also for quick response to my questions about siting and overcoming wilt problem. Overall, a very positive experience. (LOVE the name of your nursery!)

The clematis they sent was huge and healthy. They are now my GO-TO people for mail order. Can't wait 'till next spring!

I'm always leary of internet mail order sources, but what a great experience this was! It is late in the season I came across this site by googeling "crososmia" I expected dormant corms and was shocked to find a 48" tall box on my doorstep within days of my order. On opening, I found a large bunch of healthy plants, still in bloom. Wolfgang later wrote that the large box was because he "couldn't bear to cut the last flowers" As in other comments, there were numerous email's from both Diane and Wolfgang telling me when my order was shipped, and the planting instructions are detailed and personalized. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

On 5/12/2009 I purchased 3 John Clayton native honeysuckle and 2 Major Wheeler native honeysuckle. I received them quickly and was sent several emails to be prepared for their arrival. They provided clear instructions on how to plant them. They were all large plants with well established root systems that arrived in good health and a good price. They also sent me a free Orange Magnifica native honeysuckle.

In my opinion they are an excellent plant source and I would purchase from them again.

Absolutely fantastic company to mail-order from. Detailed responses to my several preliminary inquiries about the Japanese Orange Tree and the related Flying Dragon Orange Tree, its potential for my area, its requirements, deer resistance, and so forth. (I am in zone 5b/6a in Cleveland Ohio, planting as a specimen container tree for the first year as we are moving, looking for as big a tree as possible). I placed my order for the Japanese Orange tree in April, requested that it be sent in mid-May. Received emails confirming the shipping time and arrival time. Today not one but TWO trees arrived, a second complimentary tree included!!! They had also taken time to pick out two differently shaped trees, and both nice big healthy trees (a little over 3 feet tall). Definitely on my "A" list of plant companies to order from, and I'll be telling all my plant loving friends about them!

Excellent mail order experience. Received emails to confirm receipt of order, to notify of scheduled ship date, to confirm shipment, to confirm delivery, and to provide planting instructions.

Plants arrived within a week, on the scheduled date, and in very good condition. They were well packaged and showed no sign of distress from shipment.

I am really happy with my first purchase. I ordered two hard to find clematis, they sent me a personal email immediately after ordering and shipped out as told the next Tuesday. I received two healthy, leafy plants that are four times as big as the little starts I just bought from the nursery yesterday! Will definitely order from again

If you are ever in the Memphis area, this place is a must-see! It's in a lovely wooded area, and the owners live on site. The love and care they take with their plants is evident in everything they do. Since I live here, I buy directly from them, so I can't comment on shipping, but it's obvious they care about the plants they send. I give them 100 stars!!!!!!!

Good communication. Plants were soaked and shipped the Monday after the order, to avoid them being trapped in a box over a weekend (arrival: Thursday). They were a little smaller than the projected sale size, so the price was reduced (gardensoyvey's choice, before shipping). General care sheet included. The plants (yucca) are healthy and doing well.

I've bought two Hellebores plants. They've arrived very soon, very well packed, huge plants in awesome condition. I received a personal email from Diane & Wolfgang with advice for the best well-being of the plants. It's a delight to buy from them.

I ordered several shrubs and trees on Monday and they arrived at my house yesterday (Wednesday). The plants were packed with care and the roots were still very moist and happy. The plants were all a very good size with good branching and healthy root systems. The size you get for the price cannot be beat! It is nice to order from a company run by people who actually care about gardening rather than a big company who just wants to get the plants in and out and get your money. Wolfgang both emailed and called me regarding my order and it was very nice to make contact with an actual person who is out there with the plants. Fantastic - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Oh my god-these are the best people to deal with. I didn't even get my order yet and we have exchanged emails about 6 times already. I'm getting a serviceberry already 4 feet tall and branched out and they will ship it bareroot to save me excess shipping fees for the weight. You gotta use this company for your plants. What a pleasure.

I just received my order of 'Joan Senior' daylilies from Gardensoyvey.com and I couldn't be happier. These were advertised as 2-year old plants, which they obviously are. Each of them has at least two large fans, and a couple have as many as four fans--all with a well-developed healthy root system and at a lower price than that charged for a single fan by some of the other online plant farms. When I'm in the market for daylilies in the future, I'll go to Gardensoyvey.com first!

Amazing responsiveness via e-mail, the best I have ever encountered in hundreds of plant purchases.

My order arrived and all I can say about my first Oy Vey order is WOW. First rate all the way...mailed on Tuesday, here on Thursday, wonderfully packed, beautiful healthy plants. These were definitely vibrant plants as less than a week after getting them in the ground, we have had 90+ temps here every day and they are all doing fine.

I ordered the strawberry begonia and it is in very good shape. I liked the Gardensoyvey because they were very sincere and trustworthy. They even emailed me a picture of what it looks like when the plant grows. They openly states that they are happy to resend plants when they are damaged. I think that kind of assurance builds trust among us.

I found the link to this website on Dave's Garden under the vendor category for a begonia grande. I have never tried to buy a plant on-line but I loved their website and decided to take a chance. From placing an order to receiving the plant, it could not have been any easier! In fact, getting the plant into the ground was easy with the great planting instructions. There were several e-mails sent to keep me informed of the status of my shipment. I placed the order on Monday morning and the plant arrived on Thursday in the early afternoon. As it is already hotter than blue blazes here in Austin, Texas, I was surprised at the great condition of the plant when it arrived. The detailed planting instructions and the condition of the plant today make me optimistic that I will be doing business with Gardensoyvey.com again!

Gardensoyvey is a Superb company!!! I shopped with them online, and was suprised at the service and communication --not to mention the--- the wonderful products. The plants I received were big, well rooted, undamaged, and fresh (as if I had just pulled them out of my own garden that very morning). I was completely happy with my plants. I have shopped with soooooooooooo many online and local nurseries, but Gardensoyvey are on the top of my list!!!! I have recommended them to my friends and family -- but, at first I just wanted to keep them as my secret nursery. This is only my second comment about a company...but when you're good...you're good. I have to agree with everything that has been said on this thread. My order of several plants arrived in a timely fashion & in excellent condition! In the week after planting the Bird's Nest Fern I could see it growing & expanding. Ditto for the Staghorn Fern & the Passion vine. I am very impressed with this company & am getting ready to order again.

I ordered from Gardensoyvey for the first time. I could not be more pleased. The plants arrived VERY well packaged in moist newspaper and plastic bags. I could not believe the size of the plants! The strawberry begonias were so large they would not fit well into one gallon pots. They looked as fresh as if I had just bought them at a good local nursery. The yuccas were also large and in very good shape. I will DEFINITELY order from this company again!

For several years I've tried to find "Joan Senior" daylilies - and each year have been sent tiny, sick-looking plants from a national nursery. When my order from Gardens Oyvey arrived the very large plants all but climbed out of the box on their own! They are the most beautiful plants I've ever received - and I will use this nursery often as I expand my garden. Fran in Richmond, VA

I live within driving distance of Gardens Oyvey, have visited twice, and bought quite a number of plants. I love this place because 1) anything that thrives there has a good chance of thriving in my garden, and 2) Wolfgang and Diane are so knowledgeable and helpful. I have a lot of shade in my garden, and they are really good with shade plants.

(Perhaps I should also say that I've never had a problem with any plant I got there!)

By the way, I would recommend a trip to the garden if you are in the Memphis area. It's like a wonderful park.
