I LOVE this company. I wish all internet orders were like this. I order alot online, and sometimes you just don't know what you're going to get. My plants were healthy, they arrived quickly, the packaging was perfection, and the instructions were absolutely clear. The owners were so pleasant to deal with, and their stock is so good, that I plan on using them the next time I need plants, especially in the spring, even though I live in a city with lots of nurseries. All the plants were in beautiful condition. The clumps of saxifraga stolonifera were so large that I can divide them. They threw in two extra plants to make up for the shipping cost. The order arrived very fast. A great experience!

Ordered 8 gardenias - quickly received *9* big, beautiful, strong, healthy plants. They tossed in an extra plant just to say thanks. Excellent planting instructions. Will definitely order again.

I recieved plants last week from Gardensoyvey and they were enormous! huge! There were some smaller sized grasses in the order and I expected that--(I was told they would be small)--so that was fine. As others have noted, Diane and Wolfgang are wonderful people to order plants from and probably to know as well. They were very helpful to me during the shipping process via email--I felt very secure before the plants arrived. Their web site is a blast! I recommend browsing Diane's article's and photos--I am sure they are more informative for those living in the southern parts of the United States, but I found them fascinating even though I live in a very different climate. I would love to someday visit their nursery. Gardensoyvey's plant selection is excellent--you can find a lot of wonderful plants through their site. I recommend Gardensoyvey with great enthusiasm.

Ordering from Diane and Wolfgang was great from start to finish. They notified me that they soak their plants before summer shipping and mail mid-week to avoid plants sitting in the P.O. all weekend. The hydrangeas and clematis arrived with roots wrapped in wet newspaper and plastic bags and in fine condition. They surprised me with more than I had ordered and with a surprise plant as well! And along with the order more personal notes as to planting and care. Truly I am one satisfied customer!!

The packing for the hydrangeas was great and the plants arrived fresh in SF, California. There was even a bloom on Hayes Starburst and a small bud. For sure, I will be a repeat customer!

I ordered 3 Hostas and some moss I got them in 2 days of them saying they had shiped them. The plants where in great condition and they still had lots of water left in the package. I highly suggest you use Gardensavoy.com Great prices, and GREAT plants. Not to mention they had very good customer service.

I have ordered once from Diane & Wolfgang. My Cephalanthus arrived only 5 days after I placed the order. It was larger than I had expected & very lovingly packed. I received personal email from them, keeping me posted about my order & giving me advice about the planting & care of the plant. It was a real pleasure doing business with them.

I am one who is priveleged to live close enough to visit this nursery in person. If anyone is ever in the area - you must call them and try to go by. This is a garden/nursery you won't want to miss. Their grounds are well kept in such a natural setting. Their hospitality is beyond words. Their love of what they do is obvious when you see how wonderful all their plants are, and they won't let anything go out the gate that isn't up to their standards. They are hard to find, but worth every minute of it. They have a huge variety of hydrangeas, sedums, odd plants and even have a nice gift shop area. Wolfgang and Diane allow you to walk all around their 5 acres of home/nursery and take in all you desire. You can meditate by the pond or relax in the moss garden. My first trip I only spent $150, but already wanting to go back for more. Thanks Diane and Wolfgang on such a wonderful example of what a true nature lover should be.

I ordered a crossvine last month. It arrived promptly and well-packaged. It was a very mature plant--actually two plants. A little expensive, but well-worth the price. So far, it's thriving. I'm very satisfied.

I have been wanting a PeeGee Hydrangea for a long time. They are nearly impossible to find around here and if you do find one they are wildly expensive. I searched this website for a supplier and chose this company based on the reviews. I am thrilled with the plant I received! It is huge for the price I paid. And it was very carefully packaged. As others have stated they communicate alot during the ordering/shipping process, which is very reassuring. I will definitely buy from them again!

In a word: wow! I had an absolutely delightful experience dealing with Diane and Wolfgang, and would certainly buy plants from them again. I ordered a small magnolia tree over the winter for spring delivery, and their communication from January through to now has been prompt and detailed. I needed to delay shipping for a week while I was going to be out of town, and they handled the change without a hitch. The magnolia itself when it arrived was gorgeous and healthy looking and a very nice size for the price. I'm looking forward to seeing it thrive in my garden!

I can only echo the previous kudos to "Gardensoyvey:" great communication, superb advice via telephone and Internet, beautiful healthy plants, fast delivery, and a surprise lagniappe Hellebore.

What a delightful surprise when Diane actually answered the phone, contrary to a previous experience when I called a different nursery with a question. The call was answered by an "operator" obviously fending calls from other vendors. She answered my question by reading verbatim from the catalog I had in front of me. This company has about a 50/50 rating on Dave's Garden.

I was very pleased with this experience. My questions and concerns were addressed promptly. Even though it only took about six days from the time I ordered until I received my tree, I was emailed twice with the progress of my order. My tree arrived in great condition.

I visited gardensoyvey.com on October 23, their site was so nice I ordered 2 Plum Crazy Hibiscus & 1 St Johnswort even though I have over planted my yard long ago !!
The plants arrived today October 25th and are planted, extremely nice, fresh dug plants & leaves growing like they never were dug up, I think they'll bloom in a couple days.
The only problem is I ordered 2 Hibiscus & there are 3 growing here ??
Wolfgang & Diane in the short 2 days had sent me 4 emails to verify the order & keep me updated each step. Great people to do business with & you end up with extra plants !!

I have been ordering plants through the mail since I was 6; I'm now just under 50. My first order with gardensoyvey, placed a week ago and received this week, has been, without question, the best interaction I can ever remember. The plants arrived healthy and beautifully packed, and are larger in size than I expected; they sent extras (I ordered 12 Leptodermis and there must be at least 18--several growing 2 per pot); they sent another extra ("one of our favorite hydrangeas"); and they responded to a special need I expressed in shipping & followed up to confirm. All that, and the prices were the best I found after many internet searches. I'll quit searching--I can't imagine buying mailorder anywhere else after this experience.

I am rating my experience with Diane and Wolfgang as very positive, even though initially there was a mix-up and I received the wrong plants. I left a phone message and an e-mail, and that same day Wolfgang called me back and apologized. One week later the replacement plants had arrived safely. Oh yes, both sets of plants--the three Solomon's Seals and the two Oak Leaf Hydrangeas that sent by mistake--arrived as large and healthy bareroot plants. I was very pleased with the quality, as well as the service.

The Fringe tree and Hydrangea arrive on time and is good condition. I was impressed with the extensive root system on the bare root plants and I am sure they will thrive in my garden.

This has been my best experience with mail order gardening. The plants are large and healthy, the packing is excellent and the delivery fast. Best of all is the communication with Wolfgang and Diane.I am a very happy customer.

My 3 clematis order arrived on July 21st. The vines were fresh, healthy and well-hydrated. The packing was superb and email communication excellent. A very positive experience and will order from them again.

Gardens Oyvey! is by far the best experience that I've had in mail order gardening. I received my 2 nippon lilies 2 days after they were shipped (I was notified by email when they shipped, and also given instructions on care and planting) and they look as if they just came out of the ground! In addition to the great customer service, quality packing, and quick shipping, they are freaking HUGE!!!!! Long, glossy leaves that weren't the slightest bit wilted. I will say that the post office could've handled them more carefully, as the tube they were shipped in was bent, nearly broken. But Diane & Wolfgang can't be blamed for that. The best part is that the plants are much, much larger than I have ever received from a mail order nursery, even white flower farm, where you pay twice as much for your plants. I recommend every one to
Garden's Oyvey, which is where I'm planning to buy my next hydrangea!

I had ordered a white beautyberry and a yellow trumpet vine. The seller contacted me to check on how the plants were and I mentioned in a return email that I had planted to vine farther from the house than the beautyberry and forgot to water it for a couple of days and that it died. A new plant was immediately sent to me even though I had stated it was my neglect that killed the plant.

I would most definitely buy plants from this seller again.

I purchased black bamboo Oct 05 that didn't make it but they stood behind their "happiness guarantee" and today I received GREAT looking bamboo. It's taller than before (and I was happy last time) and the quality and amount of roots is super. Email communication was also timely. You have a very happy customer. I'll be back. Kim M. As a serious plant collector and landscape designer, I've been driving to Gardens Oy Vey from Nashville for the past 3 years, and every visit is just more and more delightful. Not only are Diane and Wolfgang fabulous people, but a visit to their nursery is one of the most fun, interesting, educational and unique experiences you can have as a gardener. It's a must-see if you are in the Memphis area, and their plants are excellent quality and size. while I've never ordered mail-order, I would vouch for their plants' quality and size, fair pricing and the integrity of Diane and Wolfgang. I am a repeat customer of Diann and Wolfgang's company. Both times I have received beautifully-packaged, healthy plants that were superior in every way to what I had expected.

Dianne grows extraordinary quality plants, and Wolfgang ships them. Whoever *picks* the plants to fill the orders picks *large* top quality plants, very carefully washes the soil from their roots, and lovingly packs them.

I have received top quality plants both times I have ordered from these folks. I love buying from them. I *always* check here first!

-- Poncirus trifoliata -- two large, beautiful three year trees -- there were two in the order (there were two in the pot.) I only ordered one!
-- Monarda didyma -- lovely large clump of plants, not even slightly wilted!
-- Lonicera sempervirens "Alabama crimson" -- three foot tall vine, with many *blooms* on the way!

Did I mention they accept Paypal, and ship the following Monday by priority mail? Ordering is fast, painless, and turnaround is quick. Every online nursery should be this great! A++
