Comments regarding Chamblee's Rose Nursery

I just received my first order from Chamblee's. The two Betty Boop roses arrived exactly as promised, well-packed and in great condition. Nice-sized plants for a good price! I'm impressed! I will definitely reorder from this company.

I ordered 5 roses in December and received an order confirmation the same day. They were well packed and in good condition, and shipped during the specific time I requested. The roses have been planted in the ground for 1 month now and are all healthy and really taking off. Chamblee's prices are very competitive and they have a good selection of Dr. Buck roses, David Austin roses, old garden roses and newer varieties. Chamblee's is the first website I visit when I look for a specific variety and I plan on ordering more roses from them in the future.

I have been ordering from Chamblee's for a number of years and have always found then to be great. They are the source I look to first when ordering roses. Their prices are great!The roses are healthy and take off quickly after planting. This year I ordered 5 more roses. They arrived in excellent condition. A couple were much larger than expected. The only complaint is that this year's shipping was considerably higher than in the past. I hope they can find a way to keep those costs down as their roses are wonderful!

I always received very good, healthy plants at a very reasonable price from Chamblee's and all of their plants thrive in my yard.

I ordered and received 4 plants. They were priced competitively, well packaged, arrived quickly, and were in fantastic condition. The experience was so good, I have ordered 4 more plants.

I ordered a dozen Sea Foam roses from Chamblee. The person taking the order was very polite and full of information. The roses arrived in the time frame the said they would and were packed very well. To my surprise some already had blooms on them! It has been about a month that they have been in the ground and blooming still! Definitely a great company to deal with.

I ordered one rose from Chamblee's Roses, a $10 plant with $15 shipping. Since it was a Christmas present and an unusual rose (Hot Cocoa), I went ahead and sprang for the shipping even though I thought it was high. The plant arrived yesterday and I was THRILLED! It was in a 1 gal pot with all its (moist) soil which I expected but it was also a very large plant. I am used to mail order plants being smaller than expected, not larger. Very nice plant, large, new growth, plenty of healthy foliage. Very happy with the company's product. I would definitely order from them again.

First time order with this company. Ordered 2 roses over their website on 11/4/06. The plants shipped on 11/6 and arrived 11/9. Good size and condition. One even has several buds already. Hopefully they will thrive where we planted them. Suggestion: It would be nice if the company provided a tracking number (UPS or FedEx, whichever they use) when the order is shipped so that the customer can follow the shipment.

I have had several orders from this company, and all have been received in perfect condition. The roses are large for the price and very healthy. You always know what date your roses will ship. Once I opened my shipment to find one of my roses to be be blooming its head off inside the box! In my last shipment, received two days ago, one of my roses is literally covered in buds. I did have a problem this year with this company's online order system which they have changed this year, but I emailed them and they simply asked that I telephone in my order. No problem. I love the little catalogue they send out which does not have any pictures but provides a wealth of information about roses in a chart form-well worth keeping for many years. This company can do no wrong in my book.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! I will buy again and again and again. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the roses are wonderful. There was a mistake with my last order, which they quickly fixed in the most satisfactory manner.

Received an order of eleven roses yesterday. They were in incredible condition, packed beautifully, and exactly what I had ordered. I'd been on the phone with them a time or two regarding the order, and they were nothing but friendly and helpful. I'll always check Chamblee's first if I want any particular rose -- reliability means a lot, especially over the internet.

I just received my order from Chamblee's. It was to have been shipped on the 18th, and it arrived on the 22nd in great condition. I will definitely order from them again! They're reasonably priced, and the roses arrived in one gallon containers with moist soil, packed well with a plastic bag surrounding the pots to keep the moisture in, and newspaper to protect the growth from damage during shipping. There were several canes on each plant, all of them about one foot in length. Very little damage done during shipping--I think only one, maybe two sets of leaves had either fallen off or were removed. And everything was nice and green!

I have placed many orders with this company over the last three years. The roses have all been strong plants. I have never received a mislabled rose. Their prices are very reasonable. You can count on quality plants from this vender!

This is hands down one of the best sources for roses online! I ordered roses from three online companies and I have had the best success from these folks. Their shipping was superb and the plants were the healthiest I received. Use this company with confidence.

I ordered two New Dawns back in May. They arrived quickly with no problems. Both plants are very healthy and are growing like weeds. Will definitely order from Chamblees again!

I recently received my second order. The roses appear healthy and arrived in great condition. The plants are larger than those I've received from other companies charging twice as much per rose. Chamblee's definitely deserves the BEST BUY designation of rose vendors.

This was my first time ordering from Chamblees. The roses arrived in great condition over a month ago and I planted them as soon as they arrived. 'Scentimental' is still small but leafing out well. 'Confetti' is finally getting buds on it. If 'Ebb Tide' had been available I would have ordered it as well. I definitely will order from them next year.

These are the healthiest roses I have ever ordered. They have been planted for about 6 weeks now and most are flowering. Good product, gooid price, good service. nI wish they carried a wider selection of old garden roses.

I decided to order from Chamblee's based on the Garden Watchdog recommendation. I am very happy with the rosebushes I received. (Healthy, in gallon pots, moist soil.) It was also helpful to know exactly when the orders were shipped, and the plants came just when expected. They are in great shape - I have paid more at a garden center for plants that did not look as good. I would recommend Chamblees and will definitely order from them again.

I received my first purchase from Chamblee's today and I am extremely impressed with the plants, shipping and service. A computer glitch resulted in my order being delayed but was quickly remedied by a short e-mail to their service department. I have never received such lovely, healthy looking, well-packaged plants through the mail from an online catalog. I will certainly order again from Chamblee's as I expand my rose garden.

I ordered 4 roses from this company. I loved the fact that they told me the ship date when I ordered. There was no, we'll ship it at some point in these 30 days. They said they would ship May 8th and I got them today. They are in great shape. They are really healthy. Very impressed with these plants and this company. I will order from them again!

I ordered 26 roses from Chamblees. They arrived in time, expertly packed. For the size of the roses they send, they are the cheapest source anywhere. But what makes them different is the quality of the plants they send. Other well known vendors sell half the size plants for double the price. The best source for own root plants, in my opinion. I hope the quality of the service and the plants stay the same..

I ordered 33 rose bushes and they all arrived in great shape ready for planting. They were huge with great root systems in large pots. Definately the best place to buy roses anywhere on the internet. The shipping is $8 for the first rose and then $2 for each additional rose. I just placed another order for some of the zone 7 roses on sale for $5 each. I live in a zone 5-6 area but have had extremely good results with zone 7 plants in the last 2 years. Heavy mulching has saved them all. The roses I received did get powder mildew, but that was due to the extremely warm days and cold nights in my area. Not the nursery's fault. Excellent email communication. I used a mixture of baking soda and water and sprayed them. All are doing fine. I can hardly wait for my next order. PLEASE NOTE: THEIR LAST SHIPPING DATE FOR THE SEASON IS MAY 15.

We ordered three roses from Chamblee's Roses. They were reasonably priced. They arrived in excellent shape. We were surprised to see them in pots and extra empty pots used as shipping filler. We are pleased with this company, would recommend it most enthusiastically.

I just received my order of 5 roses for a total of 41.00 incl. shipping. I've ordered roses from them before, and they are all doing very well, except for the 2 that I killed by planting too late in the season.

These $5 roses are beautiful large healthy plants. No damage during shipping, and some even have buds. I like to push hardiness limits so I thought I'd try a Tea. At this price, I have little to lose.

I consider Chamblees one of the best nurseries for roses around! They are very friendly and when I had problems, they called me and talked to me about them, and fully helped resolve my problem. This is the BEST company to order roses from on the Web. Huge plants--already blooming at only $5.00 a piece. CANNOT be beat anywhere. I decided to start my rose garden out with a bang this year, so I ordered several roses from Chamblees, ARE, Spring Valley Roses, and Cottage Farms. I was by far most impressed with Chamblees. Their roses were the same if not bigger size than the others but at a significantly lower cost. I am so please that I placed another order for their regular price roses. All of the roses are doing good so far.

Chamblee's is one of the best mail order nurseries in business today! I have ordered 19 rose bushes from Chamblee's & all arrived in excellent condition & are thriving in my garden. It is hard to believe that their prices are so reasonable, particularly considering the size & quality of the bushes they deliver. Other nurseries charge much more & deliver much smaller plants. It is a pleasure doing business with a company that delivers quality products at an affordable price. I highly recommend Chamblee's as a quality source for quality roses!

I ordered three rose bands from Chamblee's. I received my roses shortly after my order. They had great prices, so I didn't know what to expect. They were shipped in great condition with care. They were own-root roses, and looked healthy, many leaves, not dried out. In comparison to another co. these own-roots were definately larger and healthier, with much better prices. Will order from them again.

i placed an order last fall and requested end of January shipment. it was my first ever rose-buying experience. everything went off perfectly with shipping, packing was superb, plants were small but healthy looking in their little pots. several had buds. here we are at the first week of April and these roses have grown unbelievably big and all are in full bloom, some for the second time already. i just placed my third order with them. they also have a great and uncomplicated website complete with a wishlist so that you can save to order later. i find this wishlist such a bonus that most other company's websites pale in comparison.

I placed my order with Chamblee in January, requesting a delivery date of early April. Before placing my order, the staff at Chamblee's answered all my silly questions (since I'm new to roses) very quickly and courteously.

My 3 roses arrived this week, superbly packed, all extremely healthy, showing vigorous growth and even flowers and buds. I couldn't have been more thrilled or happier.

I have gotten many of my roses from Chamblee's, and deal with them exclusively whenever they have what I am looking for. They have everything you could possibly want in a rose retailer-- their customer service is excellent, the roses arrive well-packaged and looking beautiful, and their prices are unbelievably low. I can't say enough good things about Chamblee's.

Ordered 4 miniature roses from Chamblee's. They were sent promptly and they arrived in excellant condition. I planted last week and so far they look great, lots of new growth. Will order again.

I have ordered roses from many places, and none hold a candle to Chamblee's when comparing value for the $$$!! They a far and away the best at selling good, quality roses for a very low price - and great shipping rates as well. And considering all that - these are big, healthy, perfectly packaged roses!! Sometimes the "sale" roses at other nurseries are the last of a particular variety, and look like the end of the lot. Small, not quite sick, but not healthy either....just so-so roses for a cheap price. NOT Chamblee's - No, they send really nice roses for $5(sale price).....and in my first order I got 12 of them. Every one a wonderfully healthy, nice size rose that cost 3-5 times less than most other nurseries....and often for just bands. As someone who wants lots, and lots of roses, having a place like Chamblee's is much appreciated! I will be placing many orders with them in the years to come!

I ordered 11 roses at the first of the month (March). I received all 11, exactly as ordered and one, Granada, was in full bloom. The only problem was that some of the roses were too tall for the very large box and had their little necks bent. No problem though, they are all so large and full that snipping off the bent ones won't even be noticed. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable and the variety outstanding.

My first time ordering roses via internet-and it won't be the last from Chamblee's. I have my eye on 4 more today!
