Hackberry Trees, etc, #3

Aurora, ON(Zone 5b)

Not a lot in flower - though the giant bell flowers are in bud.
Round the back - too much of a good thing! Wegeilia and lamium.
These were tidied up maybe three weeks ago.

For best effect, think one needs to work on a perennial garden, maybe every three days. Had a couple of enquires this spring about putting in new perennial gardens for new customers, but that's it!
Detail of our front garden. The Siberian iris is Pappillon Blue
and the columbines McKana Hybrids.

Hi Charlie, got sidetracked for a while.

The first two photos, yes, boring, the last one is striking.

Is the last one yours?
We are still having an unbearable heatwave, 105 heat index, Yuck. Temps are 98, and are constant. My daylilies are loving it, but so are the weeds.

I am going to be in Chicago next week, my son has a new house and we are going to do some landscaping. And he wants a mural on his wall, so I will do that too.

Before I leave I think I need to start a new thread, because even if I am gone, I will expect to see pictures upon my return. i will also have my iPhone with me, so I can read the thread, but will be unable to post very much on such a tiny keyboard. Still I will check in with a word or two.

Now I'll see about starting a new thread....
