Great, thanks Neal! I'm in then.
Historic Iris Swap Anyone?
Bev, that's what I'm thinking, and I know bearded iris are tough and and easy to handle. I'm not sure about spurias, but a lot of Iris would need to remain moist and require more care and supervision.
This sounds like fun! I have a few that are oldies. INDIAN CHIEF, WABASH, EVOLUTION, and the grape smelling one. What is its name?
It is tall and lavender and blooms later than most. A big white one and also a yellow that looks like one above.

Nana3...You can just send me all of those!!! They are gorgeous and exactly the type I am looking for!!!
deb
Dragonfly, what is that one? It is a beauty! Anyone have pinks ones?
neal...i really want wabash.
nana i love that white. i have seen one like it somewhere. arctic fox? something about Christmas?
Oh, nana your white ones is prettier than mine, love that orange beard.
The 'dart' at the end of the beards helps ID 'Stepping Out'.
Mine don't have the dart so maybe I am wrong. BEV
Very pretty! Do you have a couple to share? I would love a couple of your rhizomes. The beard adds such contrast to the white falls. Also I have some short yellow ones that Mom has had before me LOL. I don't have a pick of them but they may be an intermediate. Do the grape smelling ones have a name?

dd i want that celestial flame.
neal later on sounds like a good idea. dd and i are working on our own trade as well. you just brought some folks together that aren't usually together. the possiblilites are endless.
I guess we will wait until July to send them, right? LMK
bluegrassmom, I was thinking everyone could send rhizomes at the end of June, but I'm flexible with timing. I'm fine with pushing it back a couple of weeks and getting everyone's boxes sent out by the end of July if that works well for everyone.
Looks like one of the pallida irises. Bev
Hi, Mary
I was at Paris, KY last year. I grow about 225 daylilies! We attended the Rice's Gala.
Oh wow! I used to work with Mr. Rice. (you do mean for their lil girl?
This iris has a lovely scent-Although I cannot put my finger on exactly what it reminds me of.........these were from a good friend several years ago.
You have some beauties! I think I need to make a new bed JUST for the older ones to show them off!
No dart & Stepping Out purple rim is smooth, no dots. Check Plant Files.
