Squirrel Pics...VOL. 9

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Since we all have different types they do vary on how the look. I have the Fox Squirrels and they look like horses compared to burns little red or GP's!

I think we must have the little red ones here. They don't get very big. They can destroy my feeders in a day though. I give them their own little platforms with the same seed the seed in the feeders must look better. I have quit buying the pretty decorative feeders and just replace them now when they get destroyed with ones from Dollar General or Biglots

One of mien was tryign to be sneaky today. he ran alogn the fence line jumpe d thorugh the trees, landed on gh and walke d the edge of the gh and then jumped to ultily pole and climbed down it and was very slowly and carefulyl movign to back inside of gh.

it had discovere d I have bulbs potted up and probabyl can smell them and thought it was gonan get one of two or a dozen, but I was sittign at front of gh transplantign and saw it and gave it the raise d eyebrow look an watche d it slink off , and evryso often woudl coem and check to see if I was stil watchign and I shut the gh up for the night since I cam ein. hahahahaha out foxe d that one.

Then my other one I been puttign some mroe pecans otu for it stil tryign to get it some what tame if I could and instea d of eatign them. Darn fool went and burie d them in a big piel of leave s that is set to be burned, so now before I cna burn I gott a go dig them nut s back out and wil put them back on porch rail and let him hid ethem all over again.

That little one is so adorable burn!

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Thanks GP and Maggie, he is a tiny thing, I had the gray ones last year, and he was way bigger then this one. I'm not certain, but I seen him go under our shed, where a skunk took up residence. He might have taken a home with it.

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

A skunk........ ohoh tthat sound slike trouble.

I stil tryig to train my roof climbing and down the front sid eof the trailer one. it wil come down and sit on the porch railand if front door is open wil look at me through glass and I wil stand ther e amintue and look at it, and hold up a coupel fo pecans but as soon as I open the front door off it runs and it sees the nut s in my hand. Oh well, I keep trying.

Cute pic s everybody.

I notice d my crowd startign to think a bit so they must be gettign ready soon to go where ever it is they do durign the sumemr til the nut s come back on the trees. It liek fall til sumem rthey pic my tres an dyard clean then leave a little bit an d then come back. Have no ide a where they go either.

Essex Junction, VT(Zone 4a)

Aren't the red squirrels so little and cute (of course little + furry = automatic cute...well, usually).

Here's a gray squirrel in the yard, wondering what's going on.
