Hybridizers on the Lily Auction
You may add my name if you wish:
Lighthousegal, Tyrrell, Cindy
Thanks for posting this! Now I know!
Thanks, aggiegrl! I knew a few, but not all.
Thanks for the list. Great to know these IDs.
Also need to add our own Tree_Climber, Kathy.
You can add mine too to that list. I sell under mollyd1953. We're RainDog.

Well, I'm honored to be included, but I have never registered anything ...... someday I hope.

Edited to add my last name : Kathy Rinke
No, as far as I know we're not related to those other folks who spell their name differently. (Cosmos)

This is great! How did you find them all out?
Leslie,
i cant take the credit. i did know some of them, but most were listed by other folks on another daylily forum that i check now and then. i just thought you guys might like the info, too.
tracie
Good to know. Thanks.
I finally made somebodys list!!
Even though I don't sell plants as a rule, just seeds, I guess in some respects that makes me a "breeder". My Lily Auction name is : cataddict.
Definitely!!!!
Wagsworld - John Wagner
on occasion I sale my seeds and seedlings
Charles Plalisance: Redcajun
Mike Morri: Cliviacreations
David Gillette: Artdalton
Please do not forget me
Although now only sell seeds and seedlings on the LA,I plan to introduce a few this fall.
I am ceb - Charlie Baker
Wow! That's good to know.

Tracie, I have won auctions from Bigstump & I beleive she is Helen Wheeler. From another thread, I think I remember reading that she gardens with Henry Boykin but they are not married.

Wow what's humbling is that some of these folks have bought from me.
john, i know how you feel. i did my first Trademart this last fall and i was amazed that a well known hybridizer did a trade with me! i got a lot of beauties and apparently i had a bunch he wanted.
tracie
Here is a thread that may help to clear up the Bigstump ID question.

great detective work! thanks for the clarification. i have made the correction to the list above.
tracie
mattsmom Helen Wheeler and Henry Boykin are indeed married to each other. Somehow the idea that they're not has gotten onto the web and perpetrated itself. People who know they personally and they themselves have stated that they are husband and wife.
I don't know who that YTRN is and she may have been his girlfriend at some time but she is not right now!!!
MollyD
This is a great list Angie! Thanks for posting. If you want, you can add me.....plp - Peggy Pritchard.
And my good friends up north who sell some great seeds and plants are ......lilydude - Bruce and Tanya Smith.
Sorry, I was just going by the thread & the difference in last names. Which, I should have known better this day & age.
This is wonderful. Look forward to buying and trading from the list of great breeders.
My two cents: Bigstump and Pinebeltman will combine shipping. I won some plants from her (Bigstump) on 1/19/09 and that was explicitly stated in her Emil to me. Also there has been a name change. The name listed in the Email was Helen Boykin!
Guess they got tired of that other woman pretending to be Henry's girlfriend. I spoke with a friend who knows them both personally and she told me the woman who posted she was Henry's sweetheart was someone who had been chasing him for a while but was not a girlfriend. I'm glad they found an easy way to resolve all the confusion about their status.

Daylily Stalkers!
LOL! Hadn't thought of it that way! LOL!
MollyD
One more to add to the list. LA name is Ahead = Steve Todd.
Ahead is one of my favorite sellers! See what his seeds produce here:

Did you have to post that link...WOW!!!!!!!
Anybody know anything about....Smokeysgardens......??? I noticed on LA this seller post wholesale dayliles with large amounts of fans.
I always shy away from these buys, normally I just bid on what I went looking for to begin with so I can add to my daylily beds or for breeding.

grannyh...
I noticed that too, and I have bought from them on eBay. The fans were very small and I was not all that pleased. (If they are the same people...I am 98% sure they are.) So I would not recommend them.
I also bought from Ebay from this one I am sure. Also small but looked healthy. Will see what they do this summer but not too confident. Won't buy again from them as can get much nicer plants from these other ones on LA
