Midwest Funny Farm Hatch Commencing...

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

I keep a lot of lists.

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

And some prescription medication?

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

LOL!! Gotta love the little peeps!!! ;)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Wine in lieu of prescription medication, works wonders. :-)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

The question was asked....and the answer is....

87.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Are you sure? I think you might have missed one.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

LOL!! Now what are their names???? hehehe ;)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

I knew somebody was going to ask me that, Sewincircle!!

The person who asked it has to come up with their names! Ha!

Clarkson, KY

If you tell me which ones are male and which female, Claire, I'd be happy to help...but you don't get many vetoes. But first how many of each...

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

I see Babs and Louie, jewel and gem, Lucy and Ricardo, Abbot and Costello, Ren and Stimpy, Sonny and Cher, ...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I see Mutt and Jeff, Peter and Paul, Mary , Puff, sweetie and tweety.....

Clarkson, KY

Sylvestre and Sylvie

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Hmmmm....as a non-TV-watcher, I am not familiar with those names, but I am guessing they are TV names. I am a book reading fiend. I would probably be choosing Heathcliff and Charlotte and such. That's why I tend to go with food or other related names, like Butterscotch and Cookie and Coffee, and then there are gemstone names, like Opal and Topaz and such.

But I do not know how many of each....yet....

Clarkson, KY

Captain Wentworth sounds well in a drawing room....provided he doesn't crow too loud...

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Oh! Now you're talkin!

Lodi, United States

I think you will find you have a Wickham.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Catscan....you are absolutely right. How did I not even notice? Wentworth and Wickham. Now if I could just pick them out of this feeding/drinking frenzy photo from this morning.

Aunty Norris and Mr Crawford...always liked him better than Edmund anyway...

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Billy weighs in with names Superman, Speed and Spiderman...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Thelma, Louise, Charlotte, and Biff.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Scaret and Rett, Romeo and Juliet, ...

Chick feeding frenzy!!! Who needs shark week when you have chicks!!! hehehe
Sorry Claire, shark week is a Discovery Channel shark week long event where they show shark feeding frenzys. (I forgot you dont watch TV) I will start thinking of book names, unfortunately I am reading a lot of Ecenomics now so we will have names like GDP and Per capita, expansion and such. Not very fun names!!! :(

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Oh, but Economic theorists, like Keynes and those guys, we could have a roo named Keynes...

Clarkson, KY

Now I kinda like the sound of that....manly, on a roostery sort of way...

Lodi, United States

Wickham is the one in the back seducing Lydia.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

That works!! I am also studying Geography so we can use land formations...Delta, and Drumlin. :D!!!

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Catscan - are you sure? I could've sworn that was Casanova.

Sewincircle! Excellent names. Delta, Drumlin - I'll add Moraine and Fjord.

Kelly has just suggested "Glacial Erratic" but I said no to that one.

Lodi, United States

No, I'm sure. Look for a red coat with brass buttons and shiny black boots. He'll probably have a pack of playing cards on him.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Well goodness me, you're so right! I scarcely noticed the boots among the horde.

Where is Heathcliff? Probably off by himself somewhere on a pile of shavings, staring moodily into the distance.

Sue, RI(Zone 6a)

Oh I like the geography names. See what country they originated from and there you go! Origin: The Australorp was developed in Australia so maybe a roo could be called Jabiru or Darwin. Campine were developed in Belgium so how about Wavre or Hasselt.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Wooohooo! Fun with geography!!! I like Glacier Ice for a blue or splash...hmmmm Your DH could have been onto something...hehehe They are all just so precious like gemstones!

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

OK, so the thing is, since so many look the same, how will I make all the little name tags that say "Hello, My name is Glacier Ice" etc. stick to their little feathers?

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

Find the stupidest one and name him Mr. Collins! Balances out Wickham.

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

Dog tags?

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Oh...didnt think of that. I dont think the chicks want to have the whole waxing experience. LEG BANDS!!! Thats it...Put numbers leg bands that match up to a clip board of names...YA!!!! Thats it!!

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

I have spiral leg bands but they are colors, not numbers. Groan...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Small marking pen.

Clarkson, KY

Think wine stem markers -a little ring on each one and then a name...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)
