My variegated rubber tree plant that I purchased a month or so ago. I hope it grow's as well as my all green variety......which is now over 7ft. tall and is starting to create a canopy effect in my living room;-) I like living in an "indoor" jungle though. I envy you people with the warmer climate's that can grow such outdoor's.

Wow....this thread is so COOOOOOOL. We should make one JUST for Crotons, JUST for Cordyline etc. What a reference!!! What a joy!

I've seen that small leaved thingie but can;t remember its name at the moment! I like it though!

AlohaHoya, What is the name of the Philo. thingie on outside of the thingie ? Jerry

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

P. var. verrucosum. I think. I get my Philo names mixed up.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Dale...and all,

I went back to the former threads and saw a plant named StopLight...but it was much 'redder' while yours, Dale, is a great Pink (I am looking for Pinky ones as I have choke orange)... Are crotons named by the leaf shape/pattern or the color/pattern or both? Are colors variable re: nutrition and environment?

Gainesville, FL

Yes that is philodendron verrucosum

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

thingie, while not very descriptive, is easier to say, LOL
