Oppppssss.. .I went downstairs to go thru some of my seeds to start getting them 'ready'
I inadvertently gave away ALL of my GrandPa Ott MG seed to Lorianne for her Newbie seed packets.
SO far, i've only had 1 person ask for them... and HOPEFULLY my neighbor has not torn hers down yet, and i'll be able to get some seeds.

Gemini-sage, as to your "anything in citrus that will do well in shade" I wanted to suggest corydalis lutea, which I think Tuinkabouter has.( If not I'll have plenty of strays in spring). You can plant them under trees and they flower from spring til fall.

Are we going to have a separate thread at some point for keeping track of our have/want posts? I'm talking about a thread where each person makes only 1 post and then edits it as needed, so the thread won't get too long to be easily accessed.
Otherwise, it looks like we'll end up searching through several threads looking for various people's lists. These posts are piling up! :-)

I think that sounds feasible -- but it may get confusing with 3 different threads... the Chat one included.
Maybe just 2 threads, 1 for chat and 1 for a post with a Have list followed by a Want list, like pretty much everyone has it set up. I kinda like being able to see someones haves and wants at a glance.
As a newbie with no prior experience, I'm game for whatever y'all suggest. It sure sounds like different strategies are working for different folks, i.e. d-mailing for tracking purposes, new posts for any changes etc., but it does sound like a thread where each persons personal haves and wants updated in a single post would be a simple way to track it. Like I said, I'm game for whatever. Havin' a real blast with this! I do believe my nose is getting flatter and rounder as we speak!

I've got a start on my list... I'll add to it as I go through older seeds. Common names are listed after botanical names. WS means I believe the seed should work well with the winter sowing method. Sorry if the double spacing makes for a long post, but I need bookkeeping room to jot down requests. Will try to edit number in front to show when all are taken.
Availability is not absolutely guaranteed, as many seeds still need to be sorted out & packed up. I put 5 of most to start, but I've got more of many of these, so ask even if you think they may be gone. :-)

I was going to suggest the same thing...or something similar. I would like to have a place to post the "give" and "take" lists for everyone to see. That way everyone can check to makes sure that all the "gimmees" have all been heard. I'm keeping track like this:

Critter I've got to hurry up and go through last year's seed bag. I know you have a few things I'd like, but I may still have some left from last year. I know what my project tonight is going to be!
Lala, I'm thinking that your "promised" and "requested" lists following your "haves" list might be the way to go. I was going to track seeds people requested (same as your "promised") after each entry on my haves list, but this seems simpler somehow.
I do think we need a separate thread with just 1 post per person.
I agree. I guess the format doesn't matter as long as there is one spot dedicated too haves, wants, promised, requested, whatever - without all the banter attached.
