Ah, but are any in production anywhere?
Faraway Flowers Lilies 2008
I'm sure all of them are growing in Waukee Iowa.
What great names!
The hybridizer has described the name as being indicative of the state hybridized/grown in and the color of the lily.
you would think I could spell after all these years!

Oh, I love that; I want all of them!
By the way, Sue, the Pixie lilies I bought from you - you cut the price to almost nothing because you thought the bulbs were on the small side . . you silly . . they didn't know the difference and grew up sturdy and bloomed their heads off. I owe you somewhere down the line. YOU are too nice.
Yes Ramona, do tell. Ticker's lily is gorgeous! I want one...
I don't know how I missed all the wonderful lilies on this thread!
Arlene, I have to tell you, your "Eudoxia" is drop dead gorgeous!!!!! I saw the photos on the B&D site and passed it over when I ordered for this fall's planting as it really didn't do much for me, however the way you captured its coloring really makes it breathtaking!! I may have to reconsider.....
Steve,
For first year in a pot it had a lot of blooms on it. Maineac from Faraway Flowers - it caught her eye and she d-mailed me to enter it in their contest.
Arlene, I agree with Steve. Please post your pic in PlantFiles. I too skipped over Eudoxia, but plan to buy some for this fall. They're stunning.
Ok; will do after my children leave and I have a little time; didn't know it wasn't in there.
Oh I got to go find mine!
"That's Love" the miniature glad . . . I always wondered if your market customers liked that one. It is an exclusive from T & M.
We planted all of them first, then they are ready before any others, so they sell well.
Oh, Bernie,
That makes my heart swell. I don't grow them anymore because of the work lifting them. They live on with you (you are such a good gladiolus daddy). Thompson and Morgan is the only place I have ever seen them offered.
Andy, did you taste Madam Butterfly's nectar yet?
Haha, I actually did. Kind of a soapy flavor with a hint of the scent. I guess it would be an acquired taste to bees.
I love "Hiawatha", Tracey :-) Diann, you think yours might be "Navona"? In any case it is beautiful!
^_^
Considering how yummy the nectar of columbine, borage and violets are, I am surprised. But maybe we ought to just stick with eating the lily bulbs, LOL.
I have no idea who it is.... :) Tonight I'll get out in the gardens and get some pictures snapped of the new stuff I have open..
Ticker,
LA lily TIMARU from BuggyCrazy
Arlene, is sure is a dead ringer for it, isn't it? :) Thanks!
Diann
:)
Love that Eyeliner!
Wasn't sure if I'd notice the lines, but it is more evident that I thought it would be.
ooooh, how neat!! I can't wait for mine to bloom!!
You must have some really clean windows. :)
Yeah, right. Lol!
Wonderful!!
^_^
Wanting to see more...I drooled over certain ones in this co-op. Eleganza, anyone?
Maybe-the photo on Faraway's site didn't seem speckled. http://farawayflowers.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/eleganza/cName/asiatic
Ebony, anyone? :-)
yeah ;-P
