I have some nice pink poppies blooming now. The groundhog chewed them off earlier this spring so now they are shorter and bushier and strike a nice balance with the taller ones he didn't eat.

Those poppies are really lovely. I bought a whole lot of bareroot poppies this spring, and not a single one leafed out! What type are yours? They really are lovely. Of course, even if mine had grown, they would have died with my lack of sun . . . .

How about my Americana Rose does Coral count?
One of those nasty old ground hogs ate my poppies, too.

My goodness! Early those pink poppies in the first picture just jump out at me. It was like I was standing among them.

Climbing rose 'Zepherine Drouhin'... a very tough plant, will bloom in part shade (supposedly even against a north facing wall), beautiful and also fragrant... what more could you want in a rose?!? It's one of my favorite plants.

I started a bunch of daylilies from seed 3 years ago, and they bloomed for the first time last year, mostly pink and burgundy-purple colors, many with eyezone markings. I was so excited about how well they turned out that I started 2 more flats of DLs this past winter, mostly crosses with purple varieties... in fact, I up-potted a couple dozen seedlings just this afternoon. This time, I am keeping track of the seedlings' parentage... who knows, maybe I'll get a real winner!

Here's one with a nice eyezone and pretty ruffling:

I got some deeper colors, too.

And there are a few that turned out to be peach... I'm not a big fan of peach. Not at all. Some of they will Have To Go. LOL. But this ruffled pale peachy-pink one might get to stay...
