Tplant - When I went to this thread and you were saying at first that you were going to have gastric bypass it scared me. As a nurse I see people who have not done well with that surgery. They are never well after it. I was so glad when you said you were going to do the lap band. My daughter is going to have that on March 30 and I have gone to meetings with her. It sounds like a much better option.

You have been through a lot. It is hard to lose weight with the problems you have had. I'm so glad you have found something that can help you.

I will be praying for you also. Can't wait to hear from you.

Praying late night that all went well with your surgery and soon you will be resembling your new name.

I can hardly wait to watch you drop the pounds and see your picture again and again as you drop those. What a transformation you have been offered! Like I said before I sure wish this was offered by my own insurance as I would have this proceedure done.

TPlant is alive and well!! I spoke to him this morning in the hospital. Everything went great and he has been walking around. They are letting him out this afternoon so we should be hearing from him tonight!

He sounded great for having surgery just yesterday! The surgery was laproscopic so he only has 5 little cuts. He was very upbeat and you could tell he was happy to be on the recovering side of surgery.
