Tazzy, I found my plant markers. Only problem is that I wrote the names of the varieties with the pen that came with the plastic markers and it must have been vanishing ink cause it's all gone now!!! I expect the rains and snows washed it off....nuts. Now I'll have to rely on my memory. Yeah sure....fat chance I'll remember anything. LOL

Oh my gosh, Tazzy! I didn't know mock orange bloomed in the winter!!

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

It has bloomed on and off for me from mid feb. tll first freeze
had it about 8 years

Haydenville, MA(Zone 5a)

I thought Mock Orange had white flowers and bloom a bit later. What variety is it? That almost looks like a quince with the deep color. Beautiful in any case.

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

Great pics, Tazzy. Is that Nandia bush any kin to a pyracantha? The berries look similar, but the leaves don't... Will your mock orange survive to bud again this year if it blooms now? lol, no, you won't need to stake that daff...

Sharvis, I was lucky and mine stayed marked... I used a little sharpie... but i am watching to see if how long they will stay without fading... My memory is long gone, too.... ;)

Hello Terrie and Esw...

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Oh !
I think it is Quince ? DUH ? another one i need a tag for

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

OK, that make more sense!

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

I am glad y'all worked that out... now I am truly cornfused... but that is ok... I have spent some very happy moments in a state of cornfusion... :)

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

being nuts is hard work ,i do the best i can ,
with a little help from my friends
It was brisk out today !
I manage to pull some more weeds the weeds won i lost
even got the house vacuumed and laundry done
i in bed and there are dishes in the sink
Don't know why ?

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

It was me Tazzy. I snuck in and dirtied your kitchen when you weren't lookin'! Heehee!

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

It was brisk here, too... Got my lil sprouts surrounded by cedar shavings... went to town to stock up on grain for the horses.. splurged and had taco bell... then came home and had to take ranitidine for the heart burn... lol.. oh well, it was worth it... "being nuts is hard work"... yes, but Tazzy you do it so well.... looks so effortless...

Mendy, were you here, too?

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

yeah, you caught me Starr....I figured since I was in the area I might as well dirty yours too! lol!

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL, Tazzy... we are trying to talk them into coming to the MO RU... say a word so they will come!!

Mendy, I have enough probs!!! did you also track mud all over my floor?

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Praying hard they get to come .
The weather was just right the last time
i was in that town in June .

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

I hope it will be good weather... I have never been there in June... do you know when they plan to do the tour? I am not sure if they plan to do it on friday, saturday, or sunday.... what is your opinon on this?

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

would not be time on sat probably for early birds Friday or late sleepers on sun .

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

that is what I was thinking.... and i would not want to miss any of the roundup.. which do you think would be better? friday or sunday? I was thinking maybe sunday....

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

depends on the garden owners some one has to contact
them and see if Sunday would be good etc.

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

ok, I will check into that...

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

yep Starr...that was me too....sorry...I'll clean it up after you and me go for a ride on some of your horses! lol!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

All these signs of spring? Makes me envious! All I have a re a couple of daffodils trying to break ground & some evergreen daylilies turning to mush if I don't cover them up!

Oh, I'll be off line a few days. Going to Vegas with DH and his high school
buddies. I don't drink & don't gamble, but I'll find lots to see anyway.

Haydenville, MA(Zone 5a)

Wanda! Go out to the desert! The wildflowers are supposed to be at the best they have been for Years! There are other desert areas closer to Vegas that I am sure are putting on a show.
