Oh yes!!! Being a GM is the best! Too much responsibility with being the parent. The GM gets all the fun without so much worry.

Counting down -- only about 10 more weeks and I will be a grandma!! :-)

I know being a Granny & spoiling kids will be fun, but I think I will wait. I have enough grey hair now without worrying about a pregnant young daughter!

We have a date! I will be a grandmother a week from Friday, March 4th!! The baby is frank breech, so DD has to have scheduled C-section. Can you tell I'm excited? LOL

Working on that... the last couple of workweeks have been horrendous and the kids have been pretty too. Tried to get together a couple of times, but couldn't for one reason or another. Need to get my hands on that little sweetie ~

I already have several things stashed in my closet. Have already started an Easter basket, too! (grins)

I crocheted a lap sized afghan once.
And one winter I made granny square hats
Am in awe of such fine work as that of Wanda.

And !wow! on what 3 months brings. She's sitting up and doing exercises? What an absolute cutie. ;-)

Well, I don't think she was sitting up so much as she was 'cradled' in the seat and just happened to pop her little face up.
However, being the wonder-child that she is, she's probably faking the helpless baby part. ;)

I had to learn to sew on buttons--mom had 8 kids & could barely keep up with the wash. I wanted doll clothes & learned to cut my own patterns & sew them up. My Grandma taught me to bake, crochet & quilt when she moved in with us--mom didn't have much time.

I crochet now when I watch TV , attend a meeting Or have to wait somewhere. Keeps me from stuffing my mouth. Little baby afghans are easy---I get to change color & pattern before I get tired of it. And someone is always having a new precious baby.

I'll be a grandmother tomorrow! C-section is scheduled for noon (Central) time so I should have little Autumn in my arms by 12:30 (or whenever they let me get my hands on her)! :-)

I'm so excited for you Terrie! Can't wait to see pics!

Terrie, doesn't mommy get her hands on her first?

I hope Terrie doesn't give the surgeon an elbow in the nose trying to get to the baby! ;)
