Just received my bulb order from Brecks and I was very pleased with everything except one kind of tulip (China Town). About half of them were a little moldy (but not soft). Considering that my little garden club ordered about 500 bulbs, I am happy.

$25 off my First Breck's order?
I ordered the giant daffodil collection - only 23 bulbs and one was moldy and soft. I called the customer service dept. and they told me that since it was a collection they could not ship just one bulb but would send a whole new collection. But since it was past the shipping time and the collection was sold out they sent a $10.00 merchandise certificate with NO experation date. i have two freinds who have ordered from Breck's and been very pleased with their bulbs and customer service.

I think the key is to complain with a goal in mind and ask for satisfaction. It is far cheaper for a company to keep your business than to find new customers.
And a company that does not respond well to complaints will soon run out of customers!
BTW, I called Brecks yesterday and told them about the China Town bulbs. They are sending replacements! I will give them a good rating on Watchdog.

Don't give them a rating until your replacement arrive and you are pleased. :)
Oops, already did. I'm not worried about it. They were very helpful when I called and volunteered to put it on a faster delivery.
