I finally made it into DG. Don't know what the problem was.
Thanks for the new thread Jackie.
I love all your stunning blooms.
Thanks Linda.
Gorgeous blooms today Helena. All the striped with white bars all look like Fuji's.
I love them,.
We've had so much rain this week I'.ve had to carry a bunch of plants back to the g house.
Helena, those are awesome blooms.
No luck going home yet. Because he can't eat a whole lot yet, just a few bites, his body isn't absorbing the potassium. He is still at a critical level. So they will keep him till at least Monday. Hopefully over the weekend, he can continue his intake of solid foods to help it along.
He was really depressed when he got that news.
Linda, I hope Todd makes good progress this weekend so that he might get to come home by Monday or Tuesday.. That would be wonderful.
Thank you. We hope he can go home soon too.
Beautiful bloom Jackie.
Thanks Linda.
The heat has arrived, just stifling here
It's been triple digits here for weeks. 105 today.
Linda, I complain about the cold but I can't handle the 100's
either My air cooler didn;t work well for my outside dog last yr so I will order one of those small air cooler's thats been advertized on tv. Hoping it will work better.
oops, double post

Surgeon was in this morning, he is going to talk to the GI surgeon, and if he agrees, we might be able to go home tomorrow. They are going to change his meds for his stomach to see if it works better than what he has been on.
Please say your prayers, that the new meds work.
Prayers for Todd that the new meds work better. Sometimes that's all that's needed.
What work's for one doesn't always work best for another.
Keeping my fingers crossed
Jackie, those are so pretty.
Doctors said today he isn't going home anytime soon. Lab results are still critically low.
Thanks Linda.
I understand they want to get better results before they let him come home.
They don;t want to risk it. I;m sure there will be an improvement soon.
I hope so. He is getting so cranky.
I know that low potassium is very dangerous for all of your internal organs, but was told that is also causing his memory loss. Sometimes he doesn't remember what the doctors told him, just 2 hours prior. Sometimes he doesn't know who I am.
So hard to see him like this.
Linda, I hope his Dr;'s get this figured out soon. It's hard to keep your potassium numbers up.
This opened today, looks like Xiongs chinese to me.
Thank you ladies.
Both your blooms are very pretty.
Thanks Linda
Good evening everyone.
So happy to say we are home. Doctors came in this morning, said all lab work levels are slowly improving. So he signed the release papers. We left the hospital at noon, got home at 4.
I need to keep shoving pills in Todd, but that is doable.
Thanks for all your support and prayers.
Linda, so glad you and Todd are home. I'm sure you will see even faster improvement
Hope you both get plenty of rest now.
Best nights sleep I have had in a month.
Thank you.
That's wonderful and you're welcome
I missed this bloom today. I think it's a Fuji no Beni
Jackie, that is so pretty. I love that color.
Thanks Linda, It was already so hot yesterday when I took this pic, that it made
it kinda blurry. I should have left my camera out long enough to adapt to the hot temps,
then my pics would have been clearer,
Jackie, those are beautiful. I love that color.
Thanks Linda. For some reason I don't see many buds on some of my larger vines. May be too many pests, I notice many of my lvs are curled
I hope you get some buds soon.
Glad you and your husband are home Linda. Hope he keeps improving.
Beautiful blooms Jackie you got. Hope you get more buts too. Maybe time to spray the leaves down for the bugs. I never seem to get healthy leaves on mine vines. Don't feel like taking lots of pics lately. These 2 are from the other day.
