Me too Linda.
I hate spraying Helena but I did a time or two. so hard to spray front and back of lvs. Takes a lot of spray that's why I prefer the systemic to sprinkle on top of soil It sure is easier but didn;t do much last time I used it, they're making it too weak now
Lovely blooms Helena. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Beautiful blooms Helena.
Beautiful blooms Jackie.
This heat is terrible. The older I get, the less I stay outside.
Thanks Linda,
Same here we just stay outside long enough to get our chores done, then back in,
Thanks for posting your beautiful blooms Helena and Jackie. Beautiful colors.
Beautiful bloom Jackie. I love that color.
I am asking for continued prayers please? Todd woke up this morning, said his belly was hot and sore. Just as I went to look at it, the incision in his lower abdomen opened up and started draining lots of nasty stuff. So we are back at the ER, in our home town. Doctors said he has an infection that will need surgery to clean out. CT scan also shows a small tumor on his pancreas. They are waiting on MRI results, as well as lab reports.
Thank you all so much.
Linda, I am so sorry to hear this. Sending up more prayers for Todd that he will
overcome all these setbacks. I wonder if they didn't give him enough anti-biotics to make sure he didn;t develop an infection from the original surgery?
He was sent home with strong amoxacillian. Evidently not strong enough.
I don;t think it was which makes me worry about this hospital. What were they thinking ,now more surgery because of them?. He should have had cipro and maybe even flagyl along with the cipro.
We came home yesterday afternoon. Local surgeon won't touch another surgeons patient. So they told us to go home and call his surgeon. Which we did. We sent him photos of the incision where it was leaking, he said don't worry. It's natural sometimes for one that has gone through surgery, for blood to leak and pool somewhere. His just happened to pool in his lower abdomen near his incision. A week spot in the incision popped open, and that is where it's draining. Surgeon sent cipro for him to take, and keep it covered with gauze. He has no fever, the skin around it isn't red. We will send more photos the end of the week.
Surgeon was already aware of his bad pancreas, which is causing him to be diabetic. He said the images they took just a week befire we were released shows that there is some small growths, and while they had him open during his surgery, they took biopsies, and it was not cancer. He didn't tell us, because he said we had enough to worry about.
Linda, so relieved to hear that the growths aren't cancerous. Also glad to hear that he prescribed Todd some cipro, a good strong med. Good news that the site isn't red anymore and he has no fever.
He should really start feeling better now and get some of his strength back.
Home nurses, and therapy was here yesterday. Hopefully he will slowly but surely get stronger.
Thats good that the home nurses are coming by. Some help for you.
So sorry to read all this. Praying all will turn out well for your husband Linda. You both been through a lot.
Pretty blooms Jackie. I think the heat has affected my mgs. But we have had a lot of rain especially last night and this morning. I think we are caught up from the drought.
We are so behind on our rain but good chances coming.
Helena I'm not getting hardly any blooms after they started out early for me..
I do see my pandy open on the fence this morning, will try to snap a few pics a little
later.
Thank you ladies very much.
Wish we could get some rain.
Beautiful pandy Jackie.
Thanks Linda. I tried and tried to post late last night and it just sat there. I finally gave up. Never seen anything like it. Appahhrently they don't want to be out the money to hire more servers. that could be the problem
Just about everyone on DG is complaining of slow speeds and not getting on at all.
Melody says there is no problem.
Linda, that's what she told me too but I know better. None of my other sites do this so it's just DG.. Sad they can't be honest.
I agree.
Beautiful blooms Jackie. Glad you are getting blooms.
Happy 4th of July everyone.
We were both in ber by 9:30. We heard the neighbors shooting off fireworks, but we never stepped out to view them.
Beautiful blooms Jackie.
Beautiful blooms Jackie.
I have been busy with my caterpillars, I'm raising spicebush cats now. My black Eastern swallowtails all went to Chrysalis. I released swallowtails so far and too many to go yet. It's been raining here just about everyday this last week. Now bugs and lots of mosquitos out. Glad you both are doing ok. One bloom today.
Beautiful bloom Helena. Good luck with your caterpillars.
Jackie, those blooms are so pretty.
I had bugs eating my blooms this morning.
I think this is going to be Split 2nd hige but it hasn't split yet. Sometimes it takes several blooms b4 they make the right bloom, showing its purpurea heritage oops wrong pic
