Fuji cross blooms are lovely and very interesting Helena. The differences don't surprise me with all the strange things they do.(blooms)

Asking for prayers for my husband Todd. He was told yesterday he has a large tumor in his colon. We have to go to a specialist today for more testing, but we were told it is most likely advanced cancer, due to its size.
We are praying they are wrong.

I have a new yellow mg. When I started to pot it up today, I realized the 8oz cup it was growing in was not full of roots so couldn't move it up. Will try to get it growing stronger so hopefully I can get blooms this summer.

Surgery will most like take place by the end of the week.
They want to start with a CT scan with contrast, but because he is severely dehydrated and malnourished, his kidneys are not doing well. So they can't do the contrast or Surgery until they get those kidney numbers up. So they are going to install a Pic line for nourishment, and more IV fluids. Hopefully in a day or two his kidneys will be well enough for scan with contrast, then they can do surgery

Surgery will be to remove the tumor, send it out for testing. And install a colostomy bag, for his stomach to empty.

Linda, I'm sure they will get his kidney numbers up to a safe level so they can
proceed with his ct and surgery. Will be praying for a safe outcome for Todd.

Surgery will be Friday. Tumor will be removed, and they will place a colostomy bag on him.

I know he will be glad to get this done and over with. Hope he gets to come home soon after the surgery. Praying he has a quick recovery after his surgery.

Thank you. Doctor said 3 to maybe 5 days after surgery he can go home.

Linda, anxious to hear how Todd's surgery went when you get time. Praying that everything went well.

Hey everyone, I am here. Been a hectic day. I got to the hospital this morning, hubby was in a fighting mood. He had a bad reaction to the morphine. Last night the nurses caught him, trying to get out of bed, and he pulled out his Pic line and IV. So they cut him off of morphine. When I got to the hospital, he was really pissed at me, because he said I hadn't been up to see him for 2 days. I told him that wasn't true. Finally several hours later, he calmed down, and they gave him toradol for pain. Took him downstairs and surgery was at 2. He got out of surgery about 5:30. And is back in his room. Still very sleepy.

I;ve heard about bad reactions to the morphine Glad he finally calmed down.
I hope the tramadol helps him,.I know he;s glad it's all over with.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting into the forum to post. I don't know if it's DG or my
computer.

We are both glad surgery is over. Now we wait for test results, and start to get him out of bed and walking.

Linda, that's good that they are making him walk to get his body moving again.
So glad he made it thru and will improve every day.

It will be a long road to recovery, but I know we can do it.

I had problems on dg too. Too slow so I gave up posting.
