Its lovely Linda. Helena grows a lot of Salvia's, I'm pretty sure she will know.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda. Yes, that is salvia farinacea Linda, very pretty blooms.
I'm still getting some nice blooms, though some of them are sterile.
Here's what bloomed this morning. I always take at least 2 pictures of each bloom so I may have a repeat picture of a bloom on the collages. A few of the vines had 2, 3 or 4 blooms each.

I love that Confederate rose. Mine didn't come back this year. I need to find a new one.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, thats very strange that your Cpnfederate Rose didn;t come back. They are hardy here
but usually don;t produce blooms b4 the 1st freeze, so I grow mine in the green house. So far, mine hasn't made any seeds.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I never got seeds from mine either.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and linda.
Love your confederate rose. I haven't checked on my plant but it usually comes back but doesn't bloom until late autumn. Haven't thought of taking cuttings and growing it in green house.
Glad you didn't get too much rain Jackie. We got some. It was cold this morning here.
Only a few blooms this morning.

Beautiful blooms Helena. That red bloom is so pretty. Clematis?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Very pretty blooms Helena,.
So cool here, that only 3 of the mg sds I planted in my backyard tub have sprouted.
I think I will overplant in a couple of days if no more of them come up. I need to start a bunch more in the foam cups or I;m not going to have many vines to enjoy.
