Gautier, MS

Thanks Debra, Linda and Jackie. Glad your enjoying the blooms Debra.

Though my blooms were on the small side this morning I do like the colors of them.

I love those pink blooms!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

that first pink looks like a pink silk, very delicate. Number three looks like a no mai shadow. They may be small, but they are still pretty!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Debra.
Actually both pink blooms are from the same vine Debra. For some reason the lower blooms have all been lighter than the others.
The pink blooms were supposed to have more blue, but this morning they were pink and now after a shower are changing to blue. "Pale Blue Sky" is the name ebay seller from FL gave them. So the blooms like to play tricks too! All 3 blooms on same vine.

Cool here this morning so only had a few blooms open.Sad to see

Thanks Linda and Jackie. We don't get to see too many double rainbows here either so it was special to see them this morning.
Beautiful blooms Jackie. Neat BK and a bright Rosita. I hope to grow a lot more purpureas next year.

Beautiful blooms Jackie.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies.

I have a nice Pink Porcelain bloom this morning. A dark blue that has a few defects that I expected to be of another ID. A very small white kykio bloom. Seems my vines are either taking a long break or just getting done blooming. Moved some small seedlings into my greenhouse to be out of the daily rain and under lights before I loose them all.

Gorgeous Pink Porcelain bloom Helena and a cute little Kikyou bloom.
PP reminds me of Dany's Peach, I love both of them

I had 1 new bloom this morning, Blue Saz,
Lite blue Purp, is it Caprice? the name escapes me
# 3 is a pretty unknown, is it a confused Tie Dye?? I don;t know
Carn of Venice, prettiest blooms it;s made so far

Thanks Jackie. My favorites Pink Porcelain, Dany's Peach and Blushing Bride, all have nice color in pink and peach.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. I'm still hoping my Saz vine makes at least one nice bloom. Pretty color in purpurea, I do think you got the name right. I kind of think your unknown might be Plum Surprise, it had some Fuji cross and made all sorts of blooms. Nice pattern on your Carn of Venice.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms ladies.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena, I don;t know what to think of Plum surprise.
Heres a pic of Purple Star, nothing like the Plum surprise. I must have mixed up my sds Helena,
and planted Plum Surprise sds by mistake this yr. Clearly its nothing like Purple
Star blooms. smh

Jackie, that's a beautiful bloom very striking! I love the fullness of it. Please save me a few seeds from it. No matter the names, the blooms are beautiful. I didn't update some of my vines now I have seeds and don't remember what the blooms looked like so it's a ??? for labels.

Helena, that Purple Star is last yrs bloom, just made 2 seed pods last yr.
I only had enough to send you and Debra 2 or 3 sds each..
I didn't end up with one either, the Purple Star around front has only made non Purple Star blooms.
Gorgeous blooms this morning Helena. I especially love the Gray and white stripes
and Pale Blue Sky

Beautiful blooms ladies.

Thanks ladies.
Pretty blooms Jackie. Well, we will always have the quest to get one of those to die for blooms. Hopefully it will happen again. Good to have a picture to see.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda and Helena.
Helena, yes we will forever be hoping to grow a mg with an extra
special bloom.I couldn;t do it this yr.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, I think you had some awesome blooms this year. I know I feel picky about my blooms too. We just have to deal with the stuff that comes with gardening. Hopefully next year will be better.

I only had one nice bloom from Pink Porcelain.

Thanks Helena. You had some incredible blooms this yr too like that gorgeous Pink Porcelain above.

My indica opened a couple of blooms today, probably her last for the season.
Black King
Helena I;m not sure if this is the one that you liked so much.but I think so, I;m going out to mark it
Mule earred Orchid

Dgd tried out for American Idol yesterday but she didn;t make it, a wonderful
voice they said but not the kind they were looking for, :-(

Thanks Jackie.
Awesome blooms Jackie. I hope your Indica keeps blooming for you a bit longer.
Black King looks good too and the3rd bloom is the one I like a lot. I never heard of that orchid name, I use to have and grow a few orchids but gave them up.

So sorry to hear your dgd didn't make on American Idol but it's great that she gave it a try.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena,. That bloom you like is a smaller bloom, maybe 3 inches across.
So I know that particular one isn't Purple Tie Dye which is a larger bloom.
It's got to be a cross because I didn;t plant anything that would account for it.
I don't have as many Orchids now either Helena, I do miss the Phals I used to grow..
It was a great experience for my dgd. Thank goodness she;s not upset today..

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wow. She must have a wonderful voice to try out for that show. Sorry she didn't make it.

Beautiful blooms everyone.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, all your blooms have been beautiful.

My blue Saz bloomed this morning. Not a perfect bloom at all but the only bloom I had for today.
