Thanks Jackie, I was wondering if it really was LYK b/c the leaves were a bit different. But I like the bloom anyway. Saw a bumble bee pollinating it!

Helena, I'm pretty sure I have a LYK coming along. we'll see what
bloom my vine makes
That's neat how mimosa can turn chocolate Jackie. I saw one by a ditch but too close to the road once so the city workers either cut it down or mowed it. Hope your pea vine grows good this year.
My only 2 nice blooms.
Rose silk and a pink that was supposed to be lavender silk.
Hi guys, I've never seen a choclate mimosa, but I did plant some white ones and grew them to about 2 ft tall and gave them away. * sigh* Joe keeps cutting the one down I started from a seed ten years ago.....He keeps the one out front trimmed sharply, but it is beautiful.
The girls says you can smell it, I can't, and wish I could.
Helena! That last one is a 9 spoke!! wowzers,
Debra, I grew 6 Mimosa's from seed about 2005 . I gave away 4 of them and kept 2 for myself. I didn;t plant my 2 for several years. One had what looked like chocolate spores (like on a fern) on the back of the lvs.
So the next yr or so ( I think its 2nd yr) . when it put out leaves in the spring, it became apparant that it had turned chocolate.. It never turned chocolate again.
It must be a mutant. It's much smaller than the green tree.
This is only the 2nd yr I have been able to smell the wonderful scent coming from the blooms, a very sweet scent.
Beautiful blooms ladies.
I have never heard of a chocolate mimosa tree. That is really nice.
Thanks Linda and Jackie.
Beautiful bloom Jackie. I love that lite baby blue color!
Thanks Helena. I started one of these today in case I didn't already have 1
going. I would like to start another 30 or 40 but out of energy and time.
Helena, those are beautiful. That first one is stunning.
Gorgeous blooms Helena. Can you remind us of their names when you get
a chance?? Agreeing with Linda, the first one is special, but I love the muted colors
of the next 3. Is 1 of them Jamie Lynn and 1 is Pink Beauty?
I love all the wonderful surprises you get from Azuremore's seeds.
Thanks Linda and Jackie.
1 is Mauve Beauty
2 not sure of ID
3 Dany's Peach blzd
4 is Q269 cross with lime leaves
5 is "My purple volunteer" ......I think, may have to check the labels later
Helena Really pretty blooms above only blooms here so far wild blue Ivy Leaf and a Grandpa Ott vine blooming
I have a crimson Rambler going up a Half dead tree that is 12 ft tall and climbing , be interesting when it blooms ?
Thanks for the id's Helena.
Your welcome Jackie. Thanks Juhur7. It seems I have a lot more vines that are not blooming for me this year. I definitely don't have as many vines like I grew last year. Sorry you only have a few growing, the weather does affect their growth for sure.
Kosmo Kelly, looking a bit more like it except for being more purple than blue
A purple murasakii

golly, when I work I miss so much! ( cant get on when I am at work ) love all your blooms Helena and Jackie, drop dead beautifuls. That choc mimosa is really cool, looks like a great understory tree.
love the light blue tye die, I still have no blooms from any other mgs, except pandurata. I guess they are waiting for rain ..:P
My gingers still have never bloomed. yours is gorgeous.
Thanks Debra. As an understory tree is how I see most of them growing.
I;m still waiting on blooms too and now the raccoons have broken 6 or 8 of my'baby
mg vines that were waiting 4 bigger pots.
I can't believe I found that lovely ginger for 3.99 or about that late last summer.'
Jackie, Please show me a pic of Edo Twighlite? I think I have one about to bloom from you..
Debra, as soon as I can find one, will post it to the new thread
