Hi, Maxine
Sprinkling here this morning after ½" overnight.
Never had over ½" in 24 hours in May.
We managed to get garden planted that needed to be planted now. Will be laying plastic for all the vine things as soon as it dries a bit.
Peas are up, onion plants are really taking off.
Tomatoes in hoop house for 2 weeks are growing fast.

Market has been real good. Sold lots of tomato plants.
This picture is just before we started selling Sat.

The tradewinds have returned HOORAH!. Humidity is way down and we are getting some night times showers. Blue sky with light puffy white clouds drifting over the green rain forest canopy.

Love those flowers, the Epis are great and flag iris make me dream of home in England. My favorite. And those tomato plants. We had greenhouses back in England and grew tomatoes for the markets. All in large glass greenhouses. Coal boilers and water pipes for heating Remember crawling under the plants pulling weeds and taking our shoots to promote growth and larger trusses of fruit, and then sorting into different grades. We also grew cucumber and mushrooms. That was all 50 - 60 years ago.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

@Effingham Ill started at 72* and rainy, dropped to 52* by Chicago at noon and rain cleared tho fields were full of puddles. Green Bay now @ 55* and still and clear. Cucumbers sound good!

Mountain View, HI

Forget that beautiful Hawaiian weather, cloud band reached us about 30 minutes ago and its moderate to heavy rain right now. Should stay showery for the next few day.

Ah mushrooms - mixing heaps of horse manure and straw by hand (with a pitch fork) watching it heat up and decompose to a nice dark compost. Making the mushroom beds in black plastic covered greenhouses and then waiting for those thousand of white buttons to appear. Pitch black until you switched on the lights and saw the wonderland of white mushrooms of all sizes stretching into the distance.

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

They are calling for a high of 98F. It is already plenty warm and actually hot for this time of day.

Gee, what a weather roller coaster to catch up on. Love the Epi blooms Kelli, but 101 Ouch.

Country Gardens some nice looking mater plants.

Glad to see Juhur warm up, but last post...what the heck?

It rained off and on here today with a few weather warnings, getting another cool front, so will only be low 80's instead of low 90's for a few days. And maybe our last few nights in the 60's. Skeeters are now here in full force...bug dope is needed to work in the garden. Garden looks good though.

Mountain View, HI

OK so now we are back to no wind, hot and humid dry weather for the next week so no more postings unless things change. almost 80f at 10.30am

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

64 and breezy this morn, feels nice. Sunny.

Some weather shots from the Florida Keys the past two weeks. A double ring around the sun, and it did rain that night. Storm coming in from the ocean at our campsite.

They are calling for it to be 98F today. There doesn't seem to be a fire weather warning today. I'm afraid we're in for a brutal summer. This is why I say we get our bad weather in the summer.

Not typical weather. We had nice showers overnight which usually burn off and the sun comes out. Well the showers stopped at about 8.30am but the cloud stayed around. No trade winds just very light southeasterlies. Can't complain, its really quite pleasant, not as hot and humid as it has been.

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)
