Just completing 12 hours of non stop rain. Not too heavy but weather service has a flood advisory up for another hour. Was not forecast but it happened. Who knows what the weather will be like tomorrow. Back to the potting greenhouse.

Some stars are showing, so it must be clearing off finally.
I am so glad for the rain as we are in an extreme drought area. Since Monday we recd. almost 6" of rain. Very welcome. Hopefully on our sand it will allow our trees to recover.
almost 9 am, 57* 72% humditiy, 4 mph wind? seems redundant to call 4 mph a wind...clear conditions to me looks like overcast, 20% chance of rain ( maybe south toward the bay, sure) High of 79* guessed at today, chuckle UV 1 out of 16.
They are calling for a high of 96F but the wind has died down so there is no fire weather warning.

I've got some native lupines and I think they've all gone to seed now, more likely from lack of water than from heat. We don't water that section of yard.

Some kind of cold front moved in, only 42º.
Clear blue sky, no wind, HUMID - sweating in the yard at 8am behind the lawn mower. Already climbing into the 70s. It will be uncomfortable today. Have to find yard work in the shade under the trees.
This is for Microb. This is epiphyllum 'Roman Holiday'. That's what it was labeled as anyway. It looks a lot like 'Happy Holiday'. I couldn't get a head-on picture because something was in the way.
