Ge1836, your neighbors are blessed to have you next door. What a beautiful view for them. Let me know if you want some candy lily seeds. This plant is a prolific seed producer, and I'll be happy to send some to you when I collect them in the fall.
Jmorth, as always, beautiful lilies.
Thanks Cem9165.I am full up with plants.but thanks for the offer.
Really nice, ge. It's fun to see your own property from another perspective.

The lighting on your July Mint is extra minty! :)
Great picture blog. Really neat. Do you have ensata iris also. Looked like some in the foreground of one picture.
Marcia, it is lovely. I was looking at B&D Lilies just for kicks and saw a lot of reds, pinks, whites, but not that many peach or apricot. Will have to look up Montego Bay.
I love the color of July Mint - is it like that IRL?
While pineapple lily (Eucomis) is not a true lily, it's a great plant, Cem, and yours really looks like a pineapple. It is sooo pretty! If you've grown it before, you now its benefits.
Around here it is winter hardy, and for me it has multiplied. It is a good cut flower for bouquets.
thats a really cheerful group.
There are some new lilies in this album

what kind is it? Trumpet? Aurelian? or is that the same thing?
Regale is both a species and a trumpet. The great explorer Henry Wilson found it at the end of the 19th century. He was hiking over a mountain in China, came over the peak and there were thousands and thousands of them in full bloom. He brought back bulbs, so pretty much every Regale is a descendent of the bulbs he brought back.
And trumpet and aurelian appear to be the same thing.
Donna, I have Regale envy, ;~). I keep looking at it, but haven't ordered it yet. Your picture has now made it a definite that it has to be ordered for the fall. Thanks also for that interesting bit of history.
Here's my Conca d' Or that opened today. I almost missed it, since it was being weighed down by the Baptista that had set seed. Bad Baptista!!!! It's been severely punished, and some of the seed heads met the garden reaper this afternoon. LOL.
Bad Bap!! LOL! I put a couple of Silk Roads next to them. Silk Road will beat up anything. Sometimes I'm afraid it's going to wrestle me to the ground. Naughty things do tend to seed.
