Fantastic macro, DWMike!!!

Good eye, Kim. I'm sure he wasn't easy to spot in the water.

I found this little I believe, garter snake, warming up on the side of the road.

Very nice pix of the deers burn, Mike, I give! What kind of camera do you've please. Your pics. of the little critters are out of this world!!!! That fly is scary looking.

Oxford, MS(Zone 7a)

Well thank you very much, I am glad you like them. I enjoy macro, it is my "relax" time.... I shoot a Canon Rebel XSi 450D and most all my macro shots are with my Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO DG HSM EX Macro lens, with a Canon Speedlite 430EX flash mounted on a modified flash bracket with a homemade diffuser to tone down the highlights on the critters.

Thanks and y'all keep those critter pics coming!!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Burn...nice snake shot and I love the trio! DH has seen one with twins but I have just seen our single. We usually have 2 large does one always has triplets and one that has twins in our area.

Shows how incredibly equipped even the small creatures are! Great photos DWM!

Nanny, your deer are cute!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Wow Mike!

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Amazing shot DWM. love the details of the fly. Glad to know the type of equipment you use.

Thanks Kim and Nanny. I was wondering, what Nanny`s Doe was munching on. I have never seen an Okra plant, It sounds very scrumptious.

I found this clear-winged Moth, on some wild flowers. He didn`t stick around long enough for photos opportunity.

nanny_56....the deer are pruning the okra....(~; ...that helps it produce more and makes it easier to pick. LOL

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

I will pass that info on to my neighbor!! lol

Have to say I had no idea what kind of plan it was either. I had asked my DH and he was clueless too.
