That's a cool beauty!
Let's See New Lilies Sprouting #3
The whites are outstanding. Just lovely.
Ge, your martagon is impressive. I have never tried them before. Oh I think I got one at the IA roundup in a trade but it grew the first season and never came back. jmorth, love the orange lily "Good Night" - i have that one too...Buggy Crazy? Still amazes me how early you get yours to bloom relative to others in your climate.
Donna, sorry about yours being crushed :-( Reason #39, LOL - I think you know what I mean
Here is part of my front garden today. Been pulling a lot of the dying spring bulb foliage and it is looking better. Heat is horrible here, mid-90's, should be in high 80's this time of year.
Steve - LOL!!!!!
Whoa, Mar, I just read carefully. You raised a martagon from seed? Can you tell us a little about the process? And given how expensive they are, if available, that really is fabulous.
Oh dear... no, it was bulb that I purchased. Our lily society was able to buy several bulbs that a gentleman had grown from seed. Wish I had the patience and tenacity to do it myself!
Yeah, you scared me there for a moment. Thought I was going to have to erect a statue.
rofl
Me too! (rofl, that is)

Hey everyone, nice blooms. I haven't posted any blooms in a while since I've been chasing my kid across south GA watching soccer tournaments. The garden is coming along, despite the already ridiculous heat here. It's skipped spring and gone in to a blazing hot summer, with temps in the 90's everyday for over a week. Here are some of my lilies and daylilies blooming. I didn't realize I was such a fan of orange lilies. LOL, I've got quite a few of them.
Arnette, the weather is rediculuously HOT is right. Love your daylilies area.
Cathy, those are gorgeous, how tall are they?
lovely
Love Matrix. Really multiplies fast here.
Cem, they are about a foot high if that, and in a container (window box).
ge, I agree, mine will need transferred or repotted by next year.
