Peach Blossom...Where's the peach color???

A definite mislabeled "Seductress" from ETG. I don't know where they got that name from anyway.
It's not even a registered variety. This would be one of Ludwig's hybrids.
A new clone of Grandeur perhaps??? It has smaller flowers than the true Grandeur.

A definite "Star"...Mega Star.

Some beauties there, and love the clivias!

My Black Pearl is wonderful at the moment. Glad I've had a long weekend at home to appreciate it.

I went on a short vacation up North to visit family and go to the Longwood Clivia Show. I compiled some pics I took in the show. Here's a link for those who would like to see more clivia pics.

Spring has finally arrived here. My daffodils are in bloom. Soon the Hippies would be waking up. LOADS of work in the next weeks/months.

Till next time... Happy spring gardening to all!!!

Hi Maria, all those are so pretty! thanks for posting.
Kniphofia, great photo of BP.

Mega Star is wonderful. Are clivias grown somewhat like Amaryllis? The one with the green throat is so striking. I'm getting down to the last of my Amaryllis. Clown and a deep red one are blooming at work and this is the second stem on Romance.

Here is my mislabeled bulb. I believe it is Red Pearl, was supposed to be La Paz, but they have credited me for it. John Scheepers.

Kizmo your plant looks like Dancing Queen. It's not Elvas for sure.

Cape Coral, FL(Zone 10a)

That's what I thought too.

I agree, looks like DQ to me!!!

Marietta, OH(Zone 6a)

well, the papers that came with it were labeled Elvas........ I didn't order any Dancing Queen, but you all know more about amaryllis than I do! It's pretty whatever it is, I bought 3 for $20, maybe that's why......

Marietta, OH(Zone 6a)

These are supposed to be Rembrandt VanRijn's:

Those are beautiful Sunshine!!!
Kizmo, you can contact the seller & they should give you credit for any mislabeled bulbs. I had one from JS & they gave me credit for it & also one that didn't make it. I don't believe your Rembrandt is correct either, just my opinion. It does not look like the one in Plant files.

Thanks Rene!

You're right,Lorine, guess I better look up my receipts..

Cramlington, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I think your Rembrandt might be Grandeur.

I'm wondering if they substituted other bulbs in the clearance, I ordered 3 Elvas as they were marked down, but I can't remember where I got the other ones, as I can't locate a receipt. I order online from Brent & Becky's, American Meadows and EasytoGrow, but none of my email receipts have those 'mystery' bulbs on them.. The one I posted as the Elvas, is the only one I have, the other 2 went as gifts for Christmas. Will have to contact the family to see if they have pics of the blooms to compare.
Thanks for everyone's input! I'm just beginning in Amaryllis, and when they send me a bulb that's labeled the same as what I ordered, I 'assume', LOL, that's what they are! Guess I just need to check before stating a name from now on!

Mis-named bulbs are common to us all sadly..

Yes they are sad to say!

Marietta, OH(Zone 6a)

well, my Papillo is almost bursting, (at least it looks like one), so I'll post it in the next couple of days, and one that was labeled Benefica (?), the others, well, I don't have the labels on the pots anymore for some reason.... maybe this is why I see so many posts of 'Anyone know what this is'... LOL, guess I'll be joining that group too!

Jewel!
