Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Temp. say 37 degrees, feels colder.
going to get the Longears hooves trimmed tomarrow. Rodeo, I hope not.
Will get ropes on fence today.
Always dread it too!!!

Dellroy, OH(Zone 6b)

Want me to send some cookies for them RRM? lol

Ok, I started reading the winter sowing site and now I wish I had saved my hosta seeds....and I also know what to do with all these empty milk jugs I have around here! So tomorrow the hollyhocks go into the soil! Now I am really excited!

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

jar - Hollyhocks need light to germinate, so just push them into the soil and don't cever them...

Dellroy, OH(Zone 6b)

Thanks Kelly...will do (or not, I mean...errr ....ok no dirt!)

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

lol - good girl!!

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

You can "pat" them but don't "push" them.
They will be great!!! Happy growin and sownin

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Hollyhocks are so pretty. I sowed mine outside in December and have my fingers crossed for blooms this year!

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Hey all.. Hope you are had a great weekend..Things were busy here..Lots of running around, but not alot of work accomplished...Wow only 49 days left till spring... Time is flying by already...I have 29 containers winter sown.. Some are smaller containers for seeds that I only had a few of each.. I have sprouts up in several of them..I think I need to move them where they dont get such full sun as they do on the South side of the house.. Thats the only place they are hidden from view tho..I want to put them up on the deck but i can hear Dh complaining already, so I guess until it gets really hot I wont worry about them to much..I need to get some more soil, there is so many other things I want to get started...Its supposed to be warmer tomorrow so maybe I can get started on cleaning out a flower bed up front to add my babies to and start planning to add a few more..DH will love to hear that im sure. lol Im going to look you guys up on facebook.. I dont know much about using that site tho..I'm just now learning to use this one.. Trish

Hello all....as most of you know by now I am a writer. I decided to put to use some of the knowledge I am gaining here so take a look at this and tell me what you think...

If you don't like it, it won't hurt my feelings...but I thought I would share.........and remember, you guys started this beast!!!

Booneville, AR

jar i like it good job. iget alot of garden mag. i have not seen anything like it. thanks

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Sounds like a winner to me.
Did great Jar.

Enid, OK

Jar - nice article - the only thing I noticed is you did not mention ventilation. Either leaving the cap off or cutting holes at the top of container. Great job! Who do you write for?

Mornin' everyone - still no work for me today. The side roads are so bad here Mike says I have no business out in the big truck. I'll show him, I think I will go to Lowes and Atwoods today. (Atwoods is our local farm and ranch store.) I need a new bird feeder and a "few" other things. That ought to get me in trouble.

Really looking forward to spring - can't wait to have things growing outside!!

Everyone have a great day!

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Good Morning. Sun's bright but
Frost is everywhere. It's beautiful.

Montrose, AR(Zone 8a)

Hi.. Hope the sun is shining for you all...Overcast here and still cold today..Thats no excuse I still should be outside working, but instead im sitting here all snug and warm still in my robe by the fire..

I enjoyed reading your blog julie..I think you did a nice job with it..

Only thing I have blooming right now is my camelia bush..

Dellroy, OH(Zone 6b)

Hey!!! I got this really neat package in the mail today.....with some, uhm, some.....well it's green and it's got bulbs on the bottom and it's a .........uhm............RRM what is this? I know it goes in a bog garden but that is all I know......at least I think it does.......
And I love this bracelet....I have it on right now....matches the silver jewelry I wear. Thank you so much and it fits perfectly! I love the beads you used too....Perfect Perfect Perfect!!! did I say thank you?

I am just so lost I haven't been on here forever. Hope all is well.
arejay I have facebook but don't use it, seem like I get lost and really confused with it. GD was the one to get me on there. You sent me something that had to do with the new explorer and I am not set up for that. Computer is to old :(((((((((( Sorry!

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Silly girl. That is the plant you wanted for your BogGarden. That is theCP.
Got your peat yet? Put it in rain water, no rain water?? Melt some snow.
Remember now??? Dog gone, thought I was forgetful. Glad you like the bracelet.
