I did not even know peppers grew in the wild,should have guessed everything was wild once.

There are still unclasified/unknown(by people other than residents) varieties of peppers in the jungles in south america etc.
I know people who take their vacations to go to places like Peru just to look for local peppers.

I had wondered about experimenting and trying to separate out some solid red in my red and yellow marbles - but I was told they probably wouldn't bloom true..... so I wasn't sure whether to try it or not.

Thanks for the link to the Colorado 4:00s,.. I have never seen those. I am also looking for some of the darker colors in penstemon if anyone has any to share..... I have Red Rocks - and should have Husker's Red and Ruby Tuesday coming to a RU for me next week - but I would love to have some of the dark reds, blues and purples if anyone has any.

Zinniared, I have the new zealand purple castor bean seed pods. These are so purple they are black and the blooms are blood red colored with black seed pods. If you want some of these, send me a d-mail with your address.
