Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Wrong one, Will try again.
I usually preveiw before I send, I screwed up on
that one. Sorry. no, I don't know what it is.

#2 The bloom is Cleome.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

know what the first one is??

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Charleen it looks like it could be hyacinth bean http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/890/

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

This is growing wild at the edge of my woods. I am watching it for seeds and i
don't think they are going to be very big -sized beans. But we will see
There was another down there that had tiny, teeny little pods on it..

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

If it is hyacinth bean, it will get pods on it, just like other beans. Wait until the pod dries before you harvest.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

thanks, I'll watch it. Someone may want a seed or two.

Here is some hyacinth bean vine in purple and bean pods up there. See if this looks like it. Also I made a HAVE LIST place to list what we all have to trade off so if anyone wishes to go, feel free. Maybe this will help.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

my plant looks smaller. The plant is not as thick as a bean.
I will try to get you a better picture, so you can have an idea.
It is on the edge of the woods. Do Hyacinth generally grow
of the edge of the woods?

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

They like sun, so the edge of the woods would probably be just right.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Hi ridesredmule, I am thinking that your plant might be some species of Lespedeza. You can go to the Plant and Tree Identification forum and request an ID there. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/plantid/all/ Plenty of folks would love to help you out! It would be helpful to post photos of the leaves and stems too.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

If it isn't raining heavy, I'll get down there and get those pictures
in the morning. Thanks for the help. It is a pretty little bloom.

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

ATTENTION: From now on, could we keep this thread for SEED LISTS ONLY? If you want to chit-chat, please start a new thread. I can also close this one and start a NEW 'wanted' seeds list if you prefer.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Sorry.
