Nice! With all those terraces, some down-facing lilies would be cool. :)

Not much new going on today ~ here's a whole mess of Royal Sunset

It looks like "Moonlight" strain. The green reverse is typical of this strain.

Hi Leightonhill
We are the early ones again.
It will rain all day today. Good for the JapIris .
I cant wait to see your lilies blooming.
My trumpets are slower, at the back of the house less sun.

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

I will need to check and see what needs staking out there... I bought a bunch of bulbs from Mainiac this year (and last year)... some have color in the buds so there's hope!! My gardens are all full sun southern exposure... so if things aren't blooming you know it's been cold here. Yesterday, a record, 59 degrees... Supposedly a decent weekend on tap... so....perhaps... a lily or two might open up!!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

It's been exceptionally rainy and cool this year after a warm April and May ,for which I am glad.
I just tried to order from Mainiac and she said ahe was closed for now and will dig bulbs in the fall .What was I thinking.!!!!

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

One I got that I love is DIMENTION.. (a near black if you are not familiar with it)... I'm excited to see Bonbini if it blooms this year... Do you grow a lot of lilies? They sure are beautiful! After seeing all these lovely pictures, I might have to add to my wish list!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

My gardens are 2 years old so many if not most of the lilies I'm hoping to see, were planted last fall,JapIris this spring.
I'm looking for a black or really dark purple lily to keep the yellows from overtaking visually in the spot where I have the fata morganas and music art in the collage. There are echies there also in the usual purple cone flower as well as the new sundoen.
Northeast garden forum posts dont give high marks to the "sun series" though so I'm happy they came back this second year.
I have lily Landini in the new garde started this April. Its looking like it will bloom.(if the deer dont get it)

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

Thankfully I haven't seen many deer this year! I do have a bunch of mole damage in one of my gardens... hope they aren't bulb eating moles! My cat has been catching about 3 a day so I'm guessing that all of this rain is driving them out of the ground (hope so.. lol)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Voles distroyed my new Iris plants.
Chewed the leaves off at the ground and just left them.
I'm trying cayenne pepper around plants that matter.
I am also switching to Repells-all for deer and other kritters.
Liquid Fence isnt working.
I had heard the deer get used to the smell so its necessary to chance repellents.

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

You could try Milorganite or Coyote Urine (yes it sounds disgusting.. but it, does work) or I've heard of people using Irish Spring soap hung on poles/fences in nylon stockings... I take my dogs out by the gardens and remove all their shedding hair around the back boundaries to the garden.... seems to help..

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Its a constant battle but worth it.
I have a GF who's lilies are being eaten by the beetles, she frets over the distruction and when I suggest Bayer spray or Sevin liquid she says it costs too much. She just cant have it both ways.
I spray every few weeks and there isnt much dammage to mine.Just deet eating a bud here and there.

Falmouth, ME(Zone 5b)

Ariadne and Rosepoint Lace.. .both beauties I have considered getting... any more pictures?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

These are from last year.
in fall of 2007 I ordered 2 varieties of longiforums tall lilies.
It was the first year we moved into the house.
B&D Lilies sent the bulbs (3 each of Midnight Strain and Copper King)
What bloomed months later wasnt what I ordered. 1 lily form each variety the other 2 in the variety were noid's and no one on DG; seemed to know what they were so here are some pix of what bloomed last year.
oops it was Moonlight strain

another whit lily in the bunch of three.
Not CopperKing.
I sent pix and was sent a bonus of DL's for my trouble but the DL tags said Starling but
You guessed it the DL's werent Starling so I add another noid to the list
I swore off B&D Lilies until their 1/2 off sale a month ago.
Now we will see if the DL colors are what the tags said.
I guess this just comes with the territory

The rain continues here!

Your lilies are fantastic and it has given me permission to buy mor for a spot I thought was overdone.
I need to add some dark ebony or purple prince to the area where Its all yellow.
I have been searching the garden ctrs but most of my regulars are sold out.

Great garden shots and collages. I love that melon tango Rita. Here is a shot of Samur and Luminaries with lots of daylilies and coneflowers starting in behind. Samur has lasted well in the heat.
