Comments regarding Maryott's Gardens

My order came today and the plants were beautiful! I had ordered on a special, and not only did they send my order and the special plant that I had wanted, but there were two more bonus plants! And these are not common or cheap plants, they are very nice and part of the higher end of the plants in their catalog.

Not only were the plants top grade, but the service was too. The emails were prompt and very friendly. They let you know when your plants were shipped and the packing was wonderful.

Maryrott's stands out from every other company that I have used.

I will definitely order from Maryott's again, and soon.

I received my first order from Maryott's today. The daylilies were the largest fans and so healthy. I could not ask for better. The bonuses were newer varieties and just as healthy. I really didn't expect so many bonuses either, and most were from my wish list for possible bonus plants. I will be returning to Maryott's next year. For the quality, quantity, bonuses and prices--you can't go wrong with this company and you can depend on them to answer your questions and reply to your emails/phone calls quickly. They are very courteous and helpful--I have extremely enjoyed my conversations with Marilyn Maryott. They get an AAA+++ all the way in every way from me.

I placed an order from one of the great deals they had advertised in the classifieds. They were great about emailing if something was sold out and letting me choose a replacement. I had forgotten when I had requested delivery and my email was quickly answered. The box arrived and I thought it was a mistake when I saw the size of the box. I wasn't expecting the generous size of the "sale" plants they had sent. I will definitely be a returning customer, sale or not. Very happy with my experience with Maryott's.

Wow is truly the only word I can come up with to descibe the size of the fans I received. They are the healthiest I have ever received .

All of my question were answered promptly via e-mail. I could not ask for better customer service.

I recieved my order from Maryott's Gardens today - I could not be happier! I experienced fantastic email communication and the plants were.....well....WOW is about the only way I can describe them. I will definitely do business with them again.

I got my first order from Maryott's today.

Now, I buy a lot through mail order-- and since I like to garden, naturally a large percentage of those purchases are gardening supplies and plants.

The daylilies I received today were far and away the nicest perennials I have ever received via mail order. I'll go one better: I can't imagine it's possible to receive anything better via mail order.

The plants are huge. I mean, fans the size of my hand (I'm 6'3) huge. And the tops are green. It's obvious that they were growing in the field until they were shipped to me.

The customer service was the same calibre as the plants. The nice personal email confirmation was a welcome touch.

And the gifts...

OK, I know a free fan or two is becoming standard in the industry. And it's a nice practice. But the gifts I received were nearly as many in quantity and higher in total retail price than the plants I paid for.

It's so refreshing to find such an well-run company, determined to provide a top-quality product and excellent service. Bill Maryott and company have done so with aplomb.

Recently i received numerous plants from Maryott's and i absolutely could not be more pleased...communication throughout the process was wonderful and i feel as if i made a friend with shared interests...the plants were wonderful w/almost all greater than stated double fans, very clean and ready to grow...i even had prolifs on several plants!
I've bought daylilies through a variety of vendors this year and i have to say Maryott's is tops! I can't wait to place more orders with them in the future.

I was somewhat hesitant when I placed my order but was totally surprised when I received my daylilies. The plants were healthy and much larger than I expected. The bonus was also quite large and the communication with Marilyn was great. I anticipate a good bloom season next year, no waiting a couple of years for the plants to mature as these are already quite large. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Every aspect of dealing with this company was wonderful! Great communication, excellent service, and the plants were incredibly healthy and the bonuses were thoughtfully selected! I recommend them highly!!

I bought several plants from Maryott's during the $4 per DF sale. The plants were large and often the double fans were triples or more. I also recieved a very generous bonus of three additional plants with the order. I highly recommend this nursery.

This is an excellent company to do business with. Very professional. The daylily plants were very large, fresh and green, with well-established root systems. They arrived well-packaged and clean. The generous bonus plants were also much appreciated.

I have ordered from a number of daylily nurseries this past month. I would rank Maryott #1 as for quality of plants, among all of them.

I bought from Mr. Maryott last year (2006), and I could only describe them as excellent. Questions I had were answered via e-mail promptly and courteously, the plants I ordered were huge and healthy, and they sent me as many bonuses as plants I had ordered including one of their newer introductions. I would also add that the pictures featured on their website are, based upon my experience with the plants with which I am familiar, very accurate (not always the case I have found with other growers).

I would recommend them very highly based upon my experience.

Everything has probably been said, but I had to rave about my experience. I placed an early order, before the spring update. Well, as is typical of me, I just had to look at the new catalog---then I added to the order, and again, and again!!
Believe it or not, they got it all right, sent it in terrific condition [large, clean, healthy plants], on time, with additional fans, bonuses, and with frequent e-mail updates. Besides all this they were pleasant and treated me with respect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will always do business with a company who works to please the customer, and they most certainly do. An excellent buying experience and I feel almost like I have made new friends.

A well deserved reputation. I've ordered from Maryott's at least twice and always gotten large, fresh plants which looked like they were dug up and cleaned right on the day of shipment. Even after travelling cross country, they were still growing in the box and not bothered at all by their confinement. They've all continued to grow and bloom well. He is quite honest about sharing his opinions of various hybrids with you and will let you know if something is slow for him. He has also been quite generous with bonuses. I just wish I had more room for a few more of his things.

This was the first time to order from this company and it was a great experience from beginning to end. I can hardly wait to see the results next year.

Maryotts is a great company to do business with. Received large healthy plants usually more than double fans and wonderful bonuses. Am already looking forward to ordering next year. This year I won on the auction and ordered on-line and both experiences were great. It is a pleasure to do business with a company that treats the customer so well.

Very recently I ordered from Maryott's online. Not only did I receive excellent plants in short order, I received a bonus plant for each one I had ordered. The bonus plants were of considerably higher value than the ones I ordered (and they were on my wish list for next year!). They top my list of outstanding daylily sellers!

I have ordered from these folks before. This time I ordered an expensive daylily by phone. I had had trouble deciding on this one vs. another one. I asked if I, indeed, had any say in what bonus plants I might receive. Bill affirmed I did. I received not only their designated gift plant, but two more, one of which was the plant I had almost chosen to purchase. Their service, integrity, and generosity is unparalleled. If you want daylilies, this is the place.

I'm a little late with my feedback, having received my first order this past June. However, I can't say enough good about this company. Fans were large and healthy with nice root systems. All in all, a flawless transaction from start to finish. I will order from again in the future.

I am so impressed with this company, they are awesome. Ordered 8 plants that where suppose to double fans. They sent at least 3 and some add 4 on each clump. Also, sent 4 bonus plants they where worth over half my order. You have a returning customer. Keep up the good work.

This was the second time to order from Maryott's. The plants are wonderful. They more than meet my expations. What gift plants they send, I ordered seven plants and they sent 11.

I just received my first order from Maryott's and was quite surprised by their generosity! Not only did I receive the best looking dl's I have ever received by mail order but also 3 bonus ones! They were all green and even damp which is surprising seeing that they came from California all the way to Louisiana. I will definitely purchase more from this company.....bonus or no bonus plants my order far exceeded my expectations!

I just recieved my first order from Maryott's and could not wait to tell everyone how fabulous they were to me! I could not be more pleased with the service (calling me to let me know when the order shipped out as I was on a tight deadline to get them here and in the ground.) In addition to great service, the daylilies were in terrific shape coming all the way from CA to SC. But best of all was their thoughful and generous giving of gift daylilies. Not only were they generous in the amount (they sent 3 gift daylilies when I had ordered 5), but they also clearly put some thought into what I had ordered and what I would like to receive as a gift for my garden. These were nice, highly priced gifts! I will DEFINITELY order from them when given a choice in who to use. They were far and away the best company I ordered form this year!!

He was a great help on recommendations as well. I received huge fans and lots of them, and my bonus dl's were about as expensive as my entire order! I have another order pending with them, and highly recommend them if you are in the market for great daylilies and a wonderful couple of people to do business with.

Daylilies from Maryotts are always huge, plump, healty, and just the best I have ever bought. I have ordered from them 3 times already, and will keep on being one of their customers. Bill is a nice guy also. I highly reccommend this garden.

This is the second year I have purchased daylilies from MARYOTT'S GARDENS. The first year I was WOWED by the size of the plants I received. They were planted in Zone 6 sometimes acts as Zone 5 and I did not loose one of them. This year everyone of them had beautiful blooms and increased well. Just received my second order from them today and again could not believe how generous MARYOTT'S GARDENS are. I am sure I will see blooms on these daylilies next spring, in fact, one of them has a bud on it so I might see that one now...VBG. Looking forward to ordering from them again next year, or with there weekly special offer I may order again this fall! Green thumbs up, great job MARYOTT'S GARDENS.

Very disappointed.....in myself. I wish I had ordered from this company a long time ago. I ordered a collection of 6 daylilies. I received ....9. Three bonus plants. A great place to spend your money.

Have ordered 3 times from Bill and have always been completely satisfied and thrilled with his bonuses. I usually order his "3fers". Last order I sent list of desired bonus. He not only sent my first choice (a "3fer") but threw in a $65 bonus plant. His big plants come in fresh as just dug, and lots of times 3-4 fans. One of the great promoters of dalylilydom.
