I ordered seeds based upon the rating on this website. A small order of just two packets of Japanese Morning Glory seeds. While they weren't inexpensive, shipping is included, which is definitely a consideration. (And, after all, they are the original seeds packets from Japan!) One of the packets received was of a wrong variety. I contacted Onalee, and recieved an apology, the correct packet in two days by mail, and was told to keep the inadvertantly-sent packet.

I was impressed, and would definitely order from her again.

I was contacted by Onalee from a request I made to her last year concerning sunflower cuttings. I was pleased that she had maintained my request and was responding when she had cuttings available. I ordered and she shipped immediately and the cuttings arrived in fine shape. I highly recommend her to new customers.

Yesterday, I went to get my mail & saw a Priority Mail tube from Onalee. My 1st thought was, "Oh, no! I got someone else's order!" When I opened it, I was so ecstatic! She had sent beautiful plants instead of just the crinum bulbs I'd ordered! And she sent an extra one! They traveled beautifully & looked freshly dug - perfectly packed. And she sent an extra seed pack, & extra seeds in the packs, even the corkscrew vine that was supposed to only have 5 seeds! I wish all seed sellers had a photo of a seedling & detailed instructions like she does. She's definitely got a customer for life here! I understand why she has such a wonderful reputation - it is well-deserved.

The service was great! After I placed my order, I belatedly realised I should have asked for gloriosa lily seeds as my bonus seeds. I emailed Onalee, and she not only gave me the lily seeds, she threw in a pack of extra Japanese morning glory seeds as well! The seeds arrived within a week of being shipped, which is excellent for international shipping, and the shipping fees she charges are well below the norm. I'm delighted and will definitely be purchasing seeds from her again.

I had been looking for a plant I now know to be Mexican Hydrangea for quite some time, when I found it on Onalee’s Home Grown Seeds and Plants website: http://www.onaleeseeds.com I was very pleased at options that were offered. The plants were shipped very quickly, arrived in great conditions and the “extra cuttings” gave me enough to share with my brother in law, who had also been searching for this plant. I will defiantly do business with Onalee’s again.

I'm here to add another totally positive feedback to the growing list. I just don't think you could go wrong ordering from Onalee's. I placed an order on May 10, and five days later it is in my hand. Wow! That's super fast in my opinion and all was well packaged and just as ordered. No, I take that back. I ordered 4 Gloriosa lilies, and I received 5! I was pleased to see that the seed packages not only had detailed instructions, but photographs of the sprouting plants. Yep, I'm impressed. Thanks Onalee for such a wonderful experience.

My Mexican Hydrangea and 4 O'Clock tubers arrived in perfect condition...and very quickly!! This was my first order with Onalee and I was so pleased. All were carefully packaged as well. Onalee gives easy to follow, detailed, instructions on planting and caring for the flowers or seeds you purchase from her...so helpful! I can't wait to place another order soon!

I ordered Hibiscus Coccineus from Onalee. The seeds arrived quickly and germinated when I put them in soil.

I received some seeds, Daturas, Purple Millet and others, since I am in zone 8, I followed supplied instruction exactly. Most of the seeds are coming up unlike other seed companies. Will definetly recommend for people who like to grow from seed. This is one of my best experiences, I will definetly arder again

After placing and receiving my first order from Onalee's Home Grown Seeds and Plants, I can say that I am extremely pleased with the prompt, courteous and accurate service.

My husband and I are putting in our garden in Northern Virginia and we've decided to grow everything from seed or bulb at our new house this year. I wanted to grow maypops (native passionflower - Passiflora incarnata) but I couldn't find any seeds when I started looking in January. Well, with the green up occurring in full force last week I decided I couldn't stand it anymore! I wasn't going to go the year without maypops at our new house!

Several nursery sites sold the seeds, but they were all twice the price or shipping cost, and for half as many seeds. So I went with Onalee, which I found through an exhaustive search. I was surprised to have my seeds arrive three days later! They had detailed planting instructions on the front, a necessity for this seed. Not only that, but I ordered the "10 +" seeds and received 14. I was impressed! Everything, the packaging, emails, shipping order, etc, was very professional. I will order from Onalee again!

Excellent service. Purchased 2 seed packs, took 8 days from payment or so by regular airmail to Sweden. The very smooth system for calculating international shipping (+10% of purchase price) is nice (even though actual postage may be much lower). Very good with the seedling pictures, every seed pack in existance should have it!

Just as a note, International Airmail (first class) to Europe starts at $1.20 for a one ounce package (as of this date), so the 10% international postage charge hardly ever covers it, it just offsets some of the additional expense that comes with shipping overseas.

I originally went to Onalee's site because someone wrote that there were no shipping charges - I had looked at other sites where the shipping cost more than the seeds.

I found just the seeds I was looking for, ordered them Tuesday and received them Friday, carefully packed with full descriptions and growing instructions. I will definitely order again.

This was my first time to buy from Onalee, but it surely won't be the last. I ordered seeds they got lost in mail she replaced them. Got them in the mail 3 days later. The seed packs had excellent instructions printed right on the seed packet with a nice picture of what the seedlings would look like. Great to do business with.

I’ve had a series of pleasant surprises buying seeds from Onalee’s.
I placed my order on March 25 (2009) and the goods arrived on March 31 – in Athens, Greece! I was stunned. What a remarkably fast delivery!
Then there was the courteous service: instant order confirmation, monitoring of shipment process & communication of progress via e-mail – very personal but also very efficient.
And what about the packaging? It was one of the safest I’d ever come across in my mail order experience. Those seeds would have remained intact even if they’d accidentally fallen into water.
Last, but not least, my package included several bonus envelopes with seeds of interesting plants.
In general, it’s been a very rewarding shopping experience. I’ll be visiting Onalee’s again soon.

Absolutely top-notch.

The seeds are of a good quality. The green love-lies-bleeding amaranth I ordered last year was beautiful and hardy. I ordered my seeds and they arrived two days later. The morning glory and the moonvine seeds are wonderful. I will do business with Onalee as long as she is doing business.

Gee where do I begin ? I am amazed at Onalees site and business as well . I am nearly 65 years old and a life long gardener but also I have owned and operated ( still do) a small greenhouse ( compared to the giant one about these days !) I have done business with at least 200 different companies in my lifetime and most likely many more and Onalees is among the best for service which on a scale of 1 to 10 she scores a 10 , for description and photos if it was possible she would score a 12 ! so we will leave it at 10 there too , Many places just give you 1 small non descript photo but Onalee gives you usually 3 stages of growth ! AMAZING ! There is too many good points to write here about Onalee and her site but the proof is if I* would do future business with her , In few words let me say "IN A HEARTBEAT" Nuff said ?

I ordered two packets of red castor bean seeds on 03/02. I received a confimation almost immediately. The website was easy to navigate compared to some nightmares that I have encountered. The seeds were well packaged and I received them this morning 03/04. I would certainly order more seeds from Onalee.
