Comments regarding Onalee's Seeds, LLC

I was a little nervous about ordering a plant on line, but I wanted a plant that I couldn't find anywhere locally. Onalee had it and it was shipped very promptly. I received step by step progress reports and detailed instructions on how to plant and take care of the plant. The customer care was the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely use this company again will recommend to anyone I know.

First time with Onalee, so I emailed her regarding order information. She replied very promptly.

I placed my order on Sunday, it shipped on Monday and I received it Wednesday. This is excellent service since I live in California and the shipment is from Florida.

Very pleased with the seeds and growing instructions. It even had a picture of the plant after it popped thru the ground. Plus I learn about storing seeds - they need to be kept in airtight bag and in dark places.

Received my seeds in a timely manner.They responded to my email very promptly. It was kind of scary ordering from a new company,but it turned out great.I highly recommend them.

Great service, great products easy ordering online. I have never had to call with any problems, so can't comment on how problems are handled. However, I would be shocked if the company didn't resolve them quickly and courteously. I'm a big fan and know everyone else would be too.

Her website is well organized and easy to use, she answered my pre-order questions promptly, my order arrived quickly, well packaged and with great instructions. I have ordered from many different companys via internet or mail order, but has someone been as helpful as onalee, nope! it seems to me if it has a root or leaf she knows how to plant it, and if not...she knows someone that does. if I order another plant it will be from Onalee Seeds and Plants.

I ordered a blooming size Milk & Wine Crinum Lily bulb. The bulb I received was really huge! Bulbs smaller than this one can be categorized as blooming size. The bulb (plant) was still extremely moist when it arrived - as if it was pulled from the ground just a moment before. The seed packets contained generously more seed than quoted and she also sent a free packet.

I got my seeds as ordered and was very pleased. Will order again.

After almost 3 weeks since I ordered online I have yet to receive the ordered seeds. I also have not received any response from Onaleeseeds to 2 emails requesting information about my order.

Mine may be unique experience, but I will not order with this company again. BTW, I live in Georgia just one state up from FL.

I assure you that I do respond promptly to emails and do replace lost orders. I ship orders out within 1 or 2 business days of receiving payment. I don't simply ignore emails . . . as you can see from the other reviews.

I ordered cuttings of 2 different orchid cactus. They arrived soon after I ordered them in excellent condition and are already planted. Plan to order more cuttings/plants from Onnalee. And her website is worth a visit - well organized and enjoyable. Thanks Onnalee !

I have received several seed orders over the past month from Onalee, because of her rating here and because she lives an hour north of me in Central/South Florida. The seeds are always shipped out the next day or two along with an email notification. The sowing instructions are WONDERFUL and she includes a photo of each seedling which is very helpful. This was my first experience with seeds, and now I'm hooked! I've had an *average* of 85% germination rate with all my seeds using her sowing instructions to the detail. I've also emailed her several questions, and she is detailed and quick to respond. Will definitely order from her again and again.

Purchased Canna Lily seeds. The order was sent prompt and the seeds are growing wonderfully. The order was for ten seeds but the shipment contained about fifteen which impressed me. Canna Lily seeds are now growing in little pots awaiting a bit more maturity before I plant them in the big world.
I am impressed with the professionalism and would go to them first when ordering more plants in the future.

I placed an online order May 29, 2010. Immediately received confirmation of order as well as confirmation from Pay-Pal. Onalee mailed my order next day. Received my seed order in perfect condition; with great planting directions. Received my order on June lst. Would have received the day before (if it had not been a holiday). That's positively great! Especially from Florida to East Texas!

Seeds were shipped extremely fast. The packaging is WONDERFUL! We recently bought a house and along with it came a butterfly garden. The first year was fine, but after the extremely cold Florida winter last year nearly everything perished (I know, extremely cold is relative:> ) I love the well written instructions and pictures to help reference what is growning since I am still in the early stages of learning. I'll be ordering all my future seeds from ONLY this company!

If Onalee continues her business like this she'll be the only PERFECT vendor out there! Ordered for 2 years now and seeds come fast, with great instructions, packed very well, and for a great price! I buy quite of bit of "stuff" online and have for many years now and can truly say she is the BEST vendor I have ever dealt with. Excellent communication practices and runs her business like she really LOVES what she does. Hats off to her!!! I will be recommending her to my gardening friends and checking her site first for my family's gardening needs.

I placed an order of Texas Star Hibiscus seeds, both red and white with Onalee's and am very happy with the turnaround on the order. I received the seeds in just a few days in great shape. The packaging was done in a very protective manner and was complete with a photo of the seedling as well as complete growing and planting instructions. I have grown this plant before from a cutting I received from a friend and had great success with it until recently, so I am delighted to try again with fresh seeds. I am looking forward to planting them and to the growing season!

Overall, I think Onalee has a great seed business going. I received my first order within a few days. I was very impressed by the packaging for each type of seed as she has a color picture of the seedling to id it & planting instructions. Looks very professional & even better than any seed envelope you'd get thru most well known companies. The only thing I was a little disappointed with is her free seed offer. When you buy 3 $3.00 seed packs, she will send you a seed pack 'of your choice' which also sells for $3.00. I typed in 3 types of seed that I would like to have for my free packet & Did Not get any on of them. I ended up getting a free pack of Butterfly Weed which I had already ordered in a different color. If I wanted the color she sent, I would have ordered it. The only reason that I ordered 3 packs to begin with for my 1st order was to get a free pack "of my choice". Other than this, the rest was positive.
