Comments regarding Paradise Garden

My order consisted of one siberian iris and two clematises. All three plants were quite large and were all very healthy and green. They were packed with care and received in fantastic condition, particularly considering they travelled from Michigan to Missouri. This was my second order from Paradise Garden and I have been most pleased with both orders. The plants have flourished in my gardens. I have ordered from many sources throughout the years, with varying degrees of success. This has been a very pleasant experience and I will continue to order from Paradise Garden in the years to come.

I have ordered from many nurseries and I just wanted to say that my plants were very neatly packaged. The plants are very healthy and much bigger than other mail order companies. I will definitely order from you again & again!

This was my first experience buying plants by mail. The Hostas I received were healthy and in very good condition and as good or better as any I could purchase from a near-by nursery. I am very pleased and will probably be back. One suggestion, it would be nice to have received planting instructions or what to do if you can't plant immediately.

I was very happy with the size and condition of the daylilies I ordered from Paradise Garden. They are much larger than daylilies I have ordered from other companies. Also, they sent me six plants instead of the three I ordered! They are definitely not stingy with the quantity of the plant material they ship, as I have found with some other mail order nurseries. Of course, it remains to be seen how my daylilies will thrive.

When I ordered the daylilies, I changed my mind about the variety I wanted a couple of days after placing the order. The people at Paradise Gardens allowed me to change my order with no problem. In addition, they have answered several gardening questions for me promptly by e-mail with no charge. A very good company.

Best plants I've ever rec'd in mail. Effective packing, and real plants with real leaves (!). Without a doubt, will try to buy ALL my plants from Paradise.

Just Tottaly Pleased with the daylily shipment. They were of much larger size that I had expected. I would recommend Paradise Gadens to all my friends and family. I just can not say enough positive about this last shipment.

My daylilies arrived in great condition and were much larger than I was expecting.

My plants arrived yesterday in great shape and larger than expected. I will be planting them this weekend and hope they will do well. I just ordered two, to see how they would grow, so I am anxious to plant them! So far, so good!

I ordered some iris last fall and daylilies this spring, and both orders exceeded my expectations. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than some others, and the shipping charges seemed a little high for the weight and size of the boxes, but the plant material makes up for it. Both the iris and lilies were huge and healthy (I mean really huge--in most cases each bareroot consisted of two or three of what other companies might send). Also, there were equally healthy and huge bonus plants in each order. Bravo!

The Ruby Spice Summersweet bush I received was packaged the best of anything "plant wise" that I've ever received from any company. Although still dormant it appears to be in great shape!!!!

I, too, was very surprised to see the quality of Paradise's daylilies. They arrived as very large and healthy plants. I can't wait to see them bloom. I would definitely order from this company again. Furthermore, I like the "Seed Points" incentive that they offer. It's a great way to save some money on future plant orders.

I have reordered and sent several orders to my friends. The plants are very healthy when they arrived. The company is very "custumer friendly". Will order from them soon!

I just ordered some daylilies a few days ago and received them today. When I opened the box, I couldn't believe how big and healthy the plants looked. I expected to get three puny daylillies but when they arrived, they were large and after breaking them apart, I planted 16 individual plants. Needless to say in a few years, I will have a yard full of these beauties.

Plants received much sooner than expected. Appear in excellent condition and much surprised and delighted to receive a "bonus" plant which reduces the overall cost by 20% plus the original order was all on sale to begin with. Neat trick to get me to purchase again, and I will for fall planting.

I just received my shipment of daylilies today. Wow! Paradise far exceeded my expectations. Instead of the 2-3 fans I was expecting, I received as many as 5 fans. The roots are so strong and healthy, I can't wait to get them in the ground. My neighbors are going to be so jealous.

I love the e-mailed newsletter. I will be patronising Paradise frequently.

I ordered several daylilies late in the summer last year. I expected them to arrive a little later, dormant. They came right away in great condition, and two out of four even flowered within a week or two of putting them in the ground. All were very vital, beautifully packed, and thrilled me. This company has a very fine online catalog, with customer reviews of plants, a wish list, and a very comprehensive plant list with color photos. Its a great place to go just to daydream!

I cannot let this nursery go uncommented. I ordered a couple daylilies and they say 2-3 fans - all were 3 fans each and they tossed in a whole other plant, another triple, more expensive than one of mine, for free. They arrived completely fresh and were vigorous as soon as they hit the soil. I would prefer to sit back and browse a catalog in hand BUT viewing this extensive collection of close up digital photography is hypnotizing. Can you tell I'm pleased? I haven't yet found a more organized, impressive website.

I ordered several daylilies last fall from ParadiseGarden.com. A few days later, I got an email telling me that one of the daylilies I had ordered was no longer available. The email suggested several alternatives, but when Ilooked at them, they were not what I had wanted. I chose a different daylily, which cost about twice what my original choice had cost, and offered to pay the difference. I got an email back telling me that they would send me my new choice at no additional charge! The daylilies all arrived when they were supposed to, and had large and healthy-looking root systems, and seemed very healthy thru the fall (I do expect flowers this year, as the root systems were quite large!). They also gave me some bonus plants, which I had not been expecting. All in all, it was a very favorable experience. I also enjoy their email newsletter, which points out new varieties of daylily. The web site is very nice with pictures and online reviews of the various varieties from other customers. Overall, this is one of the best catalog/mail order experiences I've had.
