I've ordered from J & P in the past, and my only problem was getting the roses too soon in the year for planting here in Iowa. Once the ground thawed and winter was finally over, I found the roses in excellent condition and ready to plant. As a novice rose person, J & P came with all instructions and helpful hints. I'll order from them again.

I ordered a set of four roses, one of which was sold out (as I found out later). They substituted, without my permission, another rose. On their invoice they stated what they had done and hoped that it would be ok with me. To their credit, they did state that I should let them know if I was not happy with the substitution. I called customer service to express my displeasure and that they owed me the courtesy of a phone call approval before making the substitution. To my dismay, the lady actually told me about the "fine print" on the order form! With that exception, I would say that dealing with them has been a pleasure.
