Comments regarding Nor' East Miniature Roses® (division of Greenheart Farms, Inc.)

Received my roses yesterday, they look good. Did not get what all I ordered, however. NO responses to leaving them voicemail about it, either. Doesn't matter, can't order from them in the future anyways and I know that none of my LGS will be ordering from them (I already asked).

Shame.

Only ordered once from Nor'East. I had thought to put in a couple of miniature roses more or less as 'annuals' and had no expectations. Well those little guys have been coming back and blooming every year for 5 years now. I take no credit all I do is weed them. They must have gotten a really fabulous start in life! Maybe I should get some more..

I had purchased an order for a 5 mini's. One of which ended up being sold out but they shipped at my request this week (last week of April). They arrived today and look AWESOME. One of them is even blooming. Definately will purchase from them again.

I ordered 16 minis last weekend and when I reviewed my order I realized I had left out one rose I really wanted. I called them on Monday and I was able to add the rose and the very helpful woman on the phone also suggested that I remove a rose that was not as hardy and substitute.

I am zone 5 and not having the roses shipped until the first week in June and there is one more rose I want that is not available yet. When I asked about adding it to the order I was told just call back when it is available and it can be added.

I am very happy with the experience.

This was a first time order from Nor'East, but will certainly not be my last. I have always thought mini-roses pretty but was never interested in growing any as I believed they were totally scentless. Well, I don't think that anymore! All five of the roses I ordered were highly fragrant. The order arrived with all plants lushly leafed out and healthy, in extra long pots, every one with multiple buds, PLUS the one packed on top had a deeply perfumed open rose for me to enjoy the minute I opened the carton. Ahhhhh! I liked that there was an instruction sheet included with the order with hints on how to perk up your new plants to minimize 'shipping shock' and suggestions regarding planting your new roses. Good experience overall!

I ordered 3 minis from Nor'East via regular mail. Since I did not order on line, of course I did not receive a conformation. So I emailed them and asked if they could send me a conformation and if possible a shipping date. I received an answer back via a very nice email from a real person the very same day with the conformation and a shipping date!

My minis arrived on time as promised and in excellent condition. In fact Starina has 2 buds! This was my first time ordering from Nor'East and I will keep ordering from them. Excellent customer service and roses!

My roses arrived today and are perfect, I love ordering from this company, Excellent customer services and the roses are amazing. I received several and all were beautifully packed and arrived on time.

I join the rank of those who adore Nor'East. What a wonderful nursery this is! Plants are healthy, shipped prompty and staff is very customer service minded. I got a gift last year which came from Nor'East. The plants have done so well I bought a couple more. There was a small clerical error which delayed my order 1 mo. so I was sent a bonus as a "sorry for the inconvenience". I am thrilled beyond words. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

Nor'East is a FABULOUS mail order source for roses!!! Literally every rose I have received from them is healthy, robust and undamaged upon receipt. Many have buds and bloom within a week of arrival. I have never received a mislabeled rose from Nor'East and they all grow true to the descriptions. Their ordering process is simple and communication regarding order and shipment is superb. Nor'East is by far the most reliable source for miniature, mini-flora and quite a few floribunda own-root roses. A++++ grower!!!!

i love ordering minis from nor-east BUT this time i'm not happy with my latest
order i got today. two roses had no leaves they were pruned down to nothing!.
why this was done is there own reason but heres my problem its 96 degrees outside which means i have to baby them and hope they leaf out again.
also the 3rd rose is supposed to be doubletake but- no tag! getting sloppy !
hopefully the 2 roses make it , if not they will need to replace them.

Last spring I ordered from this company for the first time. I wanted to put the roses in hanging baskets. My order arrived in excellent condition; healthy plants and packaged well. The roses did extremely well - even though we had a very, very dry summer. This year I was shocked when all made it through the winter (albeit a very mild one). The roses were in such excellent condition. This spring I ordered more - some for a border and some for pots. Again, wonderful, healthy plants arrived. Just placed another order for filling in some bare areas around the house. Very pleased with Nor'east and would certainly recommend them.

My rose order arrived when expected and in perfect condition. All plants are very well rooted, including two jumbo liner size plants. The plants look wonderful, and the service was great. A totally positive experience.

My experience so far was great. The 5 roses I ordered came in the time they promised and were packaged extremely well. I've never received plants that looked as healthy as these. All were leafed out and 2 were already in bloom. If they grow as well as promised I'll be back next year for a dozen more!

I can hardly wait to order again this year. I ordered for the first time last summer (around July) and was so amazed by the size/quality of the plants which arrived ready to bloom that I immediately placed another order. Most made it through the winter without problems but I do have to replace a few that the Siberian huskies demolished or the geese stepped on (sigh). My fault....I need to protect these little babies until they are woody enough to hold up to my animals. Bottom line is that these roses were much much nicer than those I ordered from another miniature rose company at the same time. I'll stick with Nor-East!

I ordered 4 mini 18" trees and 22 mini roses from NE. I'm so pleased with my trees and bushes. The trees I potted and I just rec'd the bushes, I will be putting them into the ground. I look forward to ordering more from them.

On 12/2/07 I ordered $80.00 worth of miniature roses.They all look healthy and arrived in good condition.
I kept two inside because they are blooming constantly,a nice suprise this time of year..The rest I put in the green house till spring....

I bought 3 minis from NE in May. Plants arrived in time, they were in good shape, well packaged, and two were in bud. They are doing very well in my garden, have grown and blooming for the third time now. I'd buy from them again if I could find more room for roses in my small yard.

I've ordered probably 100 or more roses from this firm. Experiences have been good. Great service, great packaging. The roses arrive picture perfect - they look like they are grown in a greenhouse. They end up looking rather different in the real world of my no-spray garden.
However, I ordered a rose in sufficient quantities to finish my rose border - the order went through on the site, but I was later told that they had discontinued the variety and they could only partially fill my order. Considering that I had been slowly accumulating the plants to build a border, I was really disappointed. I was further disappointed that the customer service rep was rather rude and essentially told me tough luck. I requested that they propagate enough roses to satisfy my order, but the customer service rep said no way and suggested another cultivar instead (one that has a markedly different flower size and bush size). So, I am left with 1/2 of a finished border. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I really feel like this is a totally corporate, money-driven firm. Too bad! I'll take my business elsewhere whenever possible in the future - especially to the small growers who put customers first.

I received my first order from this company and all I can say is "WOW!" I opened the packaging, which arrived within a week of my order, and THREE of the four roses I ordered had blooms on them and the fourth has buds which look like they'll be opening any day now. They're healthy, good sized and were packaged very well. I have already ordered another six roses from them and will be getting my freebie through the American Rose Society (they offer a nice deal for ARS members, by the way - you can join your ARS at http://www.ars.org). First order from this company. They shipped when they said they would and the roses got here in only 4 days (all the way across country - so really good).

I opened them up last night and was impressed by the packaging and condition of the plants. Next time I order minis, I will be looking up Nor'East Miniture Roses!

This is my 1st time ordering from Nor'easter -- and what an excellent choice I made. All 4 roses (which are reasonably priced) came packed beautifully and they all have blooms on them. I am very pleased with the quality and will definitely be ordering again.

Received roses from them on 4/5/07. All were very well packaged and seemed to suffer very little damage from shipping. A bit later some shipping shock has occurred with yellowing of leaves, but that seems to be resolving now as they settle in. currently still to cold at night for them to be planted so they are waiting in pots under light. They are very well leafed, budded, and several are blooming. Staff was courteous and very helpful. I'll defintely order more roses from them!

I received my shipment a few days after the order.The plants were packed and shipped so that they arrived across the country as if I had bought them locally.A few of the minis were loaded with buds.

I have ordered from this nursery for the last 3 years. They are outstanding. They actually delivered 9 different roses I ordered this year in 3 days - all healthy.

The roses are a nice size, for miniatures. Shipping was prompt. Packaging was good. Some arrived with buds, and most are now blooming about 4 weeks after delivery. I would buy from them again.

Made my first order from them in May 2006. The plants arrived in excellent condition, with several buds just about to bloom. The plants were packed extremely well with very little damage during shipping (I think there was one small broken branch). Their selection is excellent. I particularly like that they flag items by disease resistance, fragrance, and a few other categories in their catalog. I just made made my second order in June.

This a great company to purchase roses from. I ordered 4 of them, all arrived in excellent condition and in bud. I would absolutely order from the company again. I spoke with Bill personally as there was a mix up that was completely my fault and I was treated with such respect and courtesy, which is hard to find these days! I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again!!!!!

I've ordered from this company twice -- once about 15 years ago (an order of 30 plants) and just last week (an order of two plants).

Both orders were flawless -- absolutely gorgeous healthy plants with buds and blooms (though I'm more thrilled with the abundance of healthy green growth and size of the plants).

I'll be ordering again, without hesitation.

This company better STOP what they are doing..which is to produce the healthiest mini-roses around! If they don't I will go broke..

I have ordered now close to a hundred mini's from Nor'East and what a treat when I get my order. In this batch I just got, 6 out of the 7 had at least 2 to 3 buds on them. One had two fully opened flowers on them. They are just so green and healthy and not to mention to variety they offer. I am also happy to see the Tiny Petals collection included.

Wednesday, October 5th, I placed an order online and received a confirmation email. On Monday the 10th and on the 11th got emails stating there was a problem with the payment. I was using a friend's credit card and they wanted to confirm it. My friend called them up, let them know the credit card belonged to them and explained I had permission. I was told my order would be sent out within a day or two. Haven't heard back from them.

Sent about two or three emails, one just the other day saying I haven't been notified about my order and if it's not sent then I will ask for a refund. Granted, I didn't order much, just the Spice Drop and the rose recipe book, but it's the principle of the thing. I paid for those items and have yet received them.

I only ordered from them because they were a link on Edmunds' roses and at the time I couldn't find somewhere else to get microminiature roses. Since then, fortunately, I have found a company with a better reputation on this site. I will keep on hounding them until I get a full refund or my order.

Roses arrived promptly, in perfect condition. Several of them in bloom. I am very pleased.

If I could click on positive 10 times, I would! I just got 8 minature roses from Nor'east Miniature Roses and I have never been happier with an internet rose order in all my time of ordering roses this way. Every lovely mini rose was healthy, full, totally green (not a yellow leaf to be found), most were budding and about half were blooming. They all had new growth and were very very healthy looking roses. Not only that, but I got a great deal....buy 3 get 1 free with free shipping! What a great sale! I loved them so much, I ordered 4 more from them and also placed an order for 4 more for a friend as a birthday present. I trust them THAT much!!! I can't think of another vendor I would trust to send perfect roses that would be worthy of gift-giving!

I've ordered twice from Nor'East and am really impressed. Roses came across country in mid-summer and arrived in great shape. I loved opening the packages-most roses were blooming and smelled wonderful. They have bloomed non-stop since planting. Their shipping is so fast-within about a week for me. Couldn't have asked for better plants or better customer service.

I placed my first order with this company about a month ago. Although I live on the opposite side of the country, the feedback I saw here was all positive so I figured I would try it. I received two healthy roses which survived the shipping completely intact. Planted them the next day and they have been blooming ever since. I am about to place my next order today. Very pleasant experience!

I ordered 6 roses (plus 1 cracker jack rose) from Nor'East last fall and planted them outside later. They all survived the winter and I even had a few blooms in the fall after planting them. They were well packaged and very lush and green. This spring and summer they are all in bloom and very lovely. The prices were reasonable and the information on planting and growing them was informative and helpful. I have a few miniature roses that were purchased at local hardware stores, but I may replace them with some more colorful varieties from Nor'East. Great roses and I have already recommended them to friends and family as being more hardy and disease resistant than grafted varieties. I have not had any problems with disease and even the aphids haven't really affected them. Great plants!

I was an old customer before they changed (even used to go to the old Massachusetts farm to see the roses in person). In 2004 I ordered a new set of minis, and was glad to see the roses were still good quality, still reasonably priced, and so on.

I received a whole carton of healthy roses, all with buds and several in bloom 4 days after I ordered them. I am going to plant them in the ground so they will need to get used to the outdoors for a couple of weeks. This is the second time I have ordered and all the plants have been perfect. Plus, they have the most wonderful fragrant varieties.
