recently saw these two plants for sale- nice looking, but a bit etoliated (stretched) from being grown under shade cloth for years- southern California

While this plant will grow in Southern Calif. it seems it is not best in the cooler climate areas near the coast. Plant shown lost roots in last wet winter. 1 year later is re-established. bob:>)

Pictured is a rescued plant. It grew in a coastal garden right on the Pacific Coast. It had no roots last winter. It is now re-rooted. Cant wait for it to get its beauty back...bob:>)
