The wooly butterfly bush's velvety, ash-gray foliage sets sets off the mostly orange marble-sized flowerheads from spring until fall. It attracts butterflies especially in the spring. You can see why the Texas native has "wooly" as part of its name.Shown in April. (San Antonio, Tx.)
