this one rotted summer 2008 after getting 15 inches of rain in 2 days. Dont plant in the ground where it can stay wet, I plant these in pots only now.

This Mountain Aloe is growing on the west (dry) side of Tucson in the Tucson basin about a quarter mile from the base of the Tucson Mountains. The basin soil tends to be well drained.
