I just found out that this is an Eleprant Bush. I had it misidentified as a Crassula! It is 20+ years old. Lives in full sun in the summer and goes inside in the winter.

This clump is about 6' tall and goes on for yards in either direction... often used as a hedge in some areas of Southern California

A small Crassula Ovata with compact leaves made into a bonsai.

It looks so small now, but 'Elephant Bush' can grow to 6' if left uncut! Luckily, it's a good candidate for bonsai.
