What a coincidence- I just got done telling someone about my experience with it- which was positive. You can see the bright color. It bloomed well up until frost for me. The seedlings were vigorous with large leaves. It takes some space to grow, and becomes a big bushy thing by fall. Insects like to visit it.

Thanks, but :( this plant no longer grows in my yard. Did not salvage seeds properly 2-3 years ago when it used to thrive and during the shifting work at home. The petals are actually not that colour, but to the eye, it appears bright red, so lovely to see. Found it in my PC - 2007 picture.
