The nest is fibrous and like paper. I've tried writing on it.

I had torn open a huge nest that was the size of a baseball. This is the activity I saw inside.

They can build nests as large as a football. This one was slightly bigger than a baseball. Almond tree leaves are large and suits them!

This is the Queen. Found it on the ground - probably fallen down from the nest - being attacked by some small black ants.
