Thanks Dave-Who-is_Dave. I have hopes my favorite iris buds are surviving the cold. Tomatoes are fine, after running three heaters and a fan in the hoop house all night. But it is still sporadically snowing today.

I shall enjoy the day despite the vagaries of the weather gods!

Happy birthday Mulch! We are having a beautiful day here in Alabama thanks to the cold front we are getting from your direction! Much better than the tropical rains from last week! Too wet. Too hot. The iris here have come and gone and strays out in the fields bloomed their little hearts out. Now summer is moving in - Magnolia Grandifloras - like 12 inch plates of gardenia blossoms cover the trees in my front yard.

Oooo I would love to see your magnolia blossoms!!!! Any photos?
