Grass Question, Please

We live in zone 6a...we have new grasses we put in July of this past year...they are not showing any growth or indication of growth....I cut them down about 2 wks ago. Are they dead??? or am I being impatient??? Thank you....Deb

What kind of grasses were they? If they're ones that are supposed to be hardy in your area I wouldn't give up on them yet.

I'm so sorry to get back to you so late....I believe one was Karl
Forrester & the other is Blood Glass....there is a third but I haven't a clue on it....they sit up close to the house & are shaded at this time by the house...as the season progresses they are in pretty much full hot sun from 11am on......the sedge is looking wonderful & there is one amongst the other three that is growing great but he's at the end where he gets the most sun....Deb

I found the other grass is Carex Flagellifera....
