Thanks Gita, and yes, I have an unreal amount of plants that are beginning to bloom - cameras are one thing, you still need the plants/flowers to take the pictures...^_^ I won't be happy until every square inch & planter has a plant/vine in/on it!
Bec - what kind of light for that Lysmachia punctata "Alexander?" LOVE those colors!! Guessing shade to part shade????
I think you can grow it in sun or shade, Chantell. It likes pretty moist soil so I'm growing it in part shade because the soil isn't so dry there and it's thriving. There are actually two varieties, Alexander, which has green variegated leaves, and golden Alexander, which has gold variegated leaves.
Very pretty...the other sounds adorable as well!!!
Mine is in near full shade - and I still have no idea where it came from!
Stormy - I saw that pretty baby lilac at a nursery this weekend...cutie patootie they are!! I barely had any blooms this year...silly me, forgot that they bloom on new growth and I pruned my hard...in NOVEMBER...ugh...live and learn!! THAT hosta is gorgeous - really pops with that color. Jealous of all you that keep your Columbines alive - never made it for me...too much sun.
