Sorry! I cannot ID what you have in the pot--even though it is probably something you got from me--or you would not ask.....Looks like small bulbs of some kind.....

What is it?????

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

maybe they're wintersweet seeds, beany looking. I gotta get a shot of my seedlings tomorrow. Interesting asymmetrical seed leaves.

Buttoneer, looks like you have some fuzzy seedlings in that pot, reminds me of http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/141352/
or Lambs ears.

Could the larger leaf be a verity of cranesbill geranium?

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

AHHH, yes, Sally!! The brown is the give-away! And, yes--they are the size of beans!
They have to be my Wintersweet seeds sprouting!!!! WOW!

One year down--and 5-6 more to go to blooming!!!!

Carlisle, PA(Zone 6b)

They are wintersweet shrubs. Is that the same as Sweet shrub? The one is definitely a Mallow or Malva and I know I didn't start lamb's ears. These were seeds I had gotten from the HPS a year or so ago.

Some people say Sweet shrub for Calycanthus floridus which is not what Gita knows as Wintersweet Chimonanthes praecox (?)

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Is Calycanthus floridus the same as your "Bubby Bush" that I have now?

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Yes, this is what I'm talking about--and a couple small ones in my Haves
